warning- ASRG servers.......

just thought i'd warn you guys.

While on the ASRG servers, i suggest you dont make 'password' rooms. As making these rooms has got me banned atleast twice while playing with friends.

Just thought i'd let you noe, dont want you gettin banned and you'll b sitting there not knowin what happened (they dont tell u why u got banned).

Luckily my ban only lasted 5mintues:D

WTF? That is stupid banning folks for wanting to race privately. Why have the "password" space provided under the room name if they are going to ban us for using it? :rolleyes:

If I can garantee this system to run faultlessly I would try to setup as a server. Not sure what sort of pings anyone outside of Brisbane (on dial ups) would get however when we ran the LAN party some guys in NSW on cable were pushing low pings of 48 or 49. Something to consider.

Matt ... I noticed the other day when we were on that server it reads something to the effect "Please do not PW servers" up the top

here ... i found this on the v8 challenge forums.

Password a room or flooding the chat window ...

From what I have seen previously posted here from ASRG, if you Password a room or flood the chat window, they will get you kicked off and passwording a room can get you banned.
