CUSCO Impreza WIP

Hi!

This is my latest project I am working on, based on Matthew Buttons Impreza (with permission). I had to redo most of my parts, because it ended with a poly amount of 12000. So I had to start almost from zero again - here is the car so far:

I didnŽt decided yet, if IŽll really release the car or if I keep it for myself.

Matthew, they are still the same, but I edited them a little bit to fit under the wider body. I like the way you managed the texture here, cos I need a lot of space on the tga for the decals - I have to remap a lot.

I think there will be no release, cos no one really wants this car, too exotic. But you will get your copy, Matthew, I promise. The car should be finished in the next two weeks or so.

Why aren't you releasing it?! is it because of those @ssholes who keep stealing cars and calling them there own?? This comunity will get torn apart if everyone decides not to release their cars! Comon savadige this is what those theives want!

It is your decision if you wish to relese a car or not, savidge, but I honestly hope not that you're not releasing it because you think no one cares for this car.
If you're disappointed in reactions of the Cusco Impreza so far, then maybe showing pictures of the car in the game would get more response. I'm almost certain that a well-tuned car like this Impreza would be a popular car. I mean, Matthews original Impreza WRX racked up almost 400 downloads in 2 months at NFSGarage. Which is not bad. :)

I can't wait till this car comes out! I got matts car and the detail was good but this loks better like the Men In black ford LTD when the rockets went on.

This isnt a WRX Rallye car, this is the car from the Japanese GT Championship from 1999.

On this site is a small error, cos the 2001 model is the new Impreza with the round headlights, but the pics down show the 1999 model.

Now I'm making a Le mans VN coupe which is wide body and I am currently widening the body and laying back the windsheild.
In the attachment it isn't accurate to wat I've done but don't want to take another screenshot till I've done a bit more and if you want more it's in the Aussie muscle forum here http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2591
so check it out the car I am entering for the treet machine comp but i decided to make it for NFS since I already had a 3d model and besides I can't\don't want to render.
edit: before any one says it looks like a damage model I have smoothed the panels since this pic so don't say anything on on it.

-^ Nice job, complex textured cars like these are always a challenge in NFS4. Nice to have a whole lineup of these Japanese GT cars.
