What the deal with online racing … I tried a couple of times but causes my PC to do a major dammy spit. In the game I selected Multi player and the games closes and connection window opens, I entered the detail for a server and connect. On the right hand side there are a few races running so I select one and click start race. My pc goes in go slow mode and hangs… I even tried making my own pit, I seems the game in trying to launch but the PC hangs and the game won’t start. I only have a 56k modem could this be the problem??. I can’t be the PC 1.9 gig machine with 256 ram and 64 mb Video card running 98…I have even tried cutting my video in the game down to 480x600 16 bit and turned all the details down to low or off.
Can anyone help

Like Matt i doubt your using a 56k modem has anything to do with it Originally posted by DC_Dogz
On the right hand side there are a few races running so I select one and click start race. When on a server you need to click on one of the Game Rooms (not a person's name). Your options would then be "Join race" or "Spectate Race" (or something along those lines). Most of them might be password protected but that shouldn't crash your system.
You can create your own Game Room (pit) as both Dave and I have. Either leave the password blank or let chosen folks know it.
That would be the best way. Then you just sit until someone joins you if not pre-arranged.
I will go through the list of names here in this forum and email you all the password for "Total Kaos". If ever you see it up by all means drop in.
