alright, alright...I know there was 3 races but I'm only talkin' about the last two.

well maybe a word on the 1st race....I screwed up the gear ratio's(actually I never changed them from A1), and someone stole the beer from the trunk, I don't drink it, just keep it there for weight.
So 2nd place was ok under the circumstances.

Race 2: I made a slight mistake in the exit of the chicane, BC thought he could make me pay for it by out braking me in the next turn, little did he realize I had placed crazy glue on the fence in anticipation of just such an event. Stuck him there like a fly on sh*t and I'm off to the podium^_^

Race 3: Mac took the lead after a couple laps of pushing me around the track. He was so proud....he parked his car broadside near the hairpin to take a couple pic's of his leading car, unfortunately he forgot to load the film before the race and had to scurry into his shiny Porsche to get it the h*ll out of the way when he heard me comin' around the corner. He managed to move the car but the tripod tore the door handle off my bimmer as I zoomed by....thats going to cost ya bud!!!

Results..same as race two})

K, now we wait to see what MacPhotoshoot's side of the story is.

I know it won't be long before you, Mac and the others will change this...I gotta get out in it while the sun is shining!

With almost no practice and a shoulder that siezes up worse than a FORD left bank cylinder, those times of yours got me looking  :HB: I practiced LOTS for Monaco.

Every good racer needs a physiotherapist :D The longer you wait, the easier it is on me!

Then there's Mac, nipping at my heels and gaining all the time, with a dial up connection that would make anyone cross-eyed &(
I keep telling him to get a hardware modem instead of that (probably) DOS based software thingie, all I hear back is technobabble so I gave up on that one..:slap:

Your scandalous accusation is completely without merit. I - being the upright, honest, ethical, principled sort that I am - would never stoop to stealing beer out of someone's trunk!

And besides, half the bottles were empty, so don't try to tell ME you don't drink it!

And I even found the missing film from my camera there!

Good racing, Lance. I set my camber to max negative and failed to do enough testing. My tires were shot in about 5 laps!

At Mosport, I'm currently under 1:10 best laps in the Vintage GTO with AOE (Advanced Options Editor) set to original and only the suspension upgrade purchased. I anticipate laps in the 1:12-1:14 range with the GTQ cars with all mods purchased and AOE set to pure sim/slick grass.

At Monaco, the fastest times for Vintage were about 1:27/1:28 for Lance and myself. In GTQ, we were doing about 1:33/1:34. Needless to say, Doug (roush1d/DC_Racecar) was faster. <g>

Full information on both series is available at SNR:

Read the introductory text and go to the links provided.

The Advanced Options Editor and some of the Vintage cars (from GPLEA) are also available in SNR's file section. The GPLEA site seems to have problems from time to time so we made those cars available.
