that's wut i want to do. But by the looks of the pic it looks like that garage was made with a 3D editor. And i'm just learning Cinema 4D. Which is pretty hard. And will really put a hole in your wallet. lol. Very expenisive. It was costs around $4000 to get everything for it. Anyways. If anyones got a pic that i could use to make something like this it would be very helpful. And kev and andy. Next time when you come on msn messenger kick my ass so i'll get workin on the mod!:D lol

I've tried before to find some good pictures of Garages, but only found Air Plane Hangers. I wish Menus from others games like NFS:PU, EVO, and MTM would work.

I might try to get a parking Garage background from Test Drive 6 and edit out the Car from the picture. I tried to make some garages with Bryce 4, but haven't mastered that program yet. I got my copy for free (the only "other" good thing I got from school). ^_^ If I could get some backgrounds someone would have to reconfigure the car turntable so it would look right. No promises though. I might work on them when I get free time.

P.S. The Alpha looks great NFSracer!

Samman actually did create a menu that used the NFS Porsche Unleashed background:

As far as I know, he never publicly released it though. But he used it for himself, some of his own cars at SMC have it for a background.
I'm just posting this to point out that you don't necessarily have to model a background in a 3d program to get a new background, as long as it sort of 'blends'in with the showroom floor. Hopefully it gives inspriration.

Okay, the following page shows American Route 66 photos, not Australian, but again, just to give an idea of what is possible: http://www.synaptic.bc.ca/gallery/usrt66.htm (this is a HUGE page with an enormous amount of thumbnails - it's a good idea to right-click ad open each photo in a new window instead of having to d/l the entire page again and again)
My idea was, that some of these photos of sheds, gas stations, Motels, etc. might work as a background with a little editing and some replacing of the carmodels (by changing the coordinates) as well. Something similar happened with the background of the Detroit Muscle Mod (see attachment)
Maybe you can search for similar sites with quality pictures of Australian landscapes/streetviews? :)

Try and search http://community.webshots.com/ for good photos of Australia, Garages, or both; a picture like this one (http://community.webshots.com/photo/37904683/37905204YTCoXJ) could be made into a background, if you know what I mean. Good luck. -^

PRO you mean? Well, I explained that in the other Showroom thread here, (http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1982) 2 days ago. ;)

Well, if you are going to use his as a base, you'd obviously have to ask him for permission - in fact, you'd have to contact him anyway to get the background in the first place. :)
His contact info can probably be found at SMcars, or in the member list here.
