Some nice stuff you haven't seen before..

Here are newest pics of the Lamborghini Murciélago, along with some stuff you haven't seen before.. What the in game menus look like.. As you can see, they look amazing.

The Lamborghini Murciélago features accurate exterior and interior colour schemes.. Notable colours are Arancio Ishtar (the very bright orange), Blu Ely (the light blue colour seen in the attachments below), Verde Hydra (a deep, rich, metallic green), and the eye catching Giallo Orion (also seen below in the attachments). Due to popular request, I've also included Verde Ithaca.

Colours:
Arancio Ishtar, Grigio Antares, Grigio Iris, Blu Ely, Blu Hera, Nero Pegaso, Verde Hyrda, Verde Ithaca, Viola Ophelia, Giallo Orion

Unfortunately, the performance data is as close to the real car as I could get it, within the limits of NFS High Stakes very poor physics engine.. I can't do much about the physics engine, but, I can tweak some aspects of the graphics though, and, you can probably see the obvious differences, especially in the screenshots of the menu (look closely at the car).

ey that looks good how'd u make the graphics better? and what is the poly count on that?

I tossed the standard in game and in menu reflection maps/textures that EA used..

And, with a bit of educated guessing, and, playing around with gradients and lens flares, I was able to come up with this look for the 3d models..

Some intelligent use of texturing and shading for the car model can help the realism too..

The polygon level for this car is, er, let me see, I just check for you.. Okay, it's 3478 polygons.. With a detailed and accurate (used blueprint images to model it) bodywork, interior, and so on.. Note that the interior has a few different colours in it.. I made use of the 2nd exterior colour options (which EA usually uses for striped paint work on the cars), and used it for interior colours instead, as well as using the normal provisions for interior colour..

You say you removed the standard reflection maps, does that mean this will be a feature in the GT-mod?

Remko: Yes, the new chrome maps will certainly be a part of GT nfs-mod.. The chrome maps for the tracks are even more remarkable..

I basically did a whole heap of new chrome maps.. Lens flares for headlights I changed too.. Though, they may get updated again, still..

Also, the Murciélago needs some work on the headlight colours, since it has xenon high-intensity gas-discharge headlights, which have a distinctive blue white glow.. May also make use of the :OL part as well, for these purposes..

my menus in aussie mod won't be the reason for downloading the mod! PROBLY ONLY BE DOWNLOADED FOR THE CARS =(( Someone remind me why i was hired for aussie mod??? I seem to forget WHY Boss-Racing asked me to do the menus when you got talent like this!?!?!

NFSracer: Don't forget that the person who did the menu background is not only skilled at 3dsmax, but, also not a bad architect, too.. That's why the background scene is as good as it is..
