1) On your site it says about the fantasy track and one of them possibly being a real Aussie track. I cant seem to work out which one ... more information ... pretty please???

And 2) I plan on making textures for each of the 2002 cars not included in v8 challenge. As I do them can I add them to your site please:confused:

Sorry I haven't had time to update V8SHAKES or keep tabs on this forum lately. I bearly have time for a few quick laps of Bathurst.

As for the mystery track i now need to rack my dead brain cells as it was told to me months ago by Damian (our screenshots provider).

Yeah, I slapped together a paintjob myself. Not mimicking any race teams, just something different.
Sure you can send in your new skins. That'll be cool.

also it says for the upcoming game v8 challenge

I plan on doing every car in the current series (yes all of them). It'll take time so obviously dont expect them all at once but I'll get there!

You know this means I'll have to pull my finger out and start updating V8SHAKES again.

I made a matching pair of skins last night. Mainly as an offer of thanks to Dave for all of his help.

As you can see by the bottom left corner I have done more since the other screens of the second image. For example the exterior mirrors, rollbar, paited the rear bumperetts darker etc.
Unfortunately Jpegs blur some colours, trust me they don't so shabby in the game.

Unfortunately the wheels don't take the mapping from the tga's of the "Textures" folder. I wasted a lot of time pianting wheels that just don't show in the game.

i got a really good pic of the white HRT wheels, resized them, altered them to look gamish and found out they only work when bright or skaife are about ten metres in front of you and the don't move

i've made a highly detailed version of my shabby maloo and its now set for release, could you host some screen shots of it so i can advertise on the V8challenge forum?

Acca - the V8 Shakes Racing looks good!! Colours blend is perfectly.

BTW - I have a texture update for the game which UPDATES JUST ABOUT EVERY CAR TEXTURES TO SHOW THEIR REAL NUMBERS!!

I got annoyed last night seeing the "50" Cat falcon and the like (even Ozemail racings number was off my one)

The only 3 cars that seemed to be right were HRT 1 + 2, and HYL 02.

I also added the EA SPORTS sticker above the numbers on the cars, like on the HRT, where the v8 supercar logo is in real life. Dont worry if once again i confused you!

I think the mystery track is HIDDEN VALLEY but I cant remember what it is called in the game.

I was lookin at an outlined map of hidden valley last night on a shell ad on ther back of a mag (you know - one of them we protect v8 supercars in varying conditions. Can we protect your car)

And I remember seeing the Hidden Valley track somewhere (no not on TV last weekend)

I'll check it out when I have some time.

Bad and sad news ...

I'll send you the number update on the weekend because the power system in the other computer blew up last night (the one with the textures for the number updates)

But I will make do and either get a new power supply or sedtup the HDD temporarily to this system.
