Like it ?
The mid-rear isn't done yet, that's why it looks a bit weird

Looks good, though I can't comment on the accuracy since i've never seen a real one. ;)
Yes, it's accurate! I see these things nearly every day..
Please assure me this won't be the 307 HDi model.. ^_^ Oh, actually, I see now that the HDi model is one of the quickest 307 models, although it has only modest power, it is a real torque monster..

Get a closer look here. (http://www.cardesignnews.com/events/geneva2001/highlights/highlights03.html)
The 307 is the new 'compact' class (Golf, Focus, Civic) model by Peugeot, it won last years European Car of the Year award. As is the trend with cars today, the 307 is longer, wider and especially taller than its predecessor, giving it almost minivan-like proportions.
You're doing a good job on it, RunR.-^
Further to what Remko said, it follows the French car trend of not handling as well as its predecessor, the 306 XR/XT/XT Hdi/XSi/GTi did.. And the ride quality is not as good as it was on the previous 306 model, too.
I had a 306 XT DT for a long while.. The XT DT was the turbo-diesel model before they updated it to 306 XT HDi.. With the HDi update, it got high pressure common rail direct injection, improving somewhat on the old XT DT's modest power and torque outputs..
The torque on these little turbo-diesel intercooled engines peaks very quickly at 1800rpm, and falls away quickly beyond 2000rpm. So, for fast acceleration, you keep the engine revving between 1650rpm and 1900rpm.. Pushing beyond 2000rpm and on to the modest 3000rpm rev limit only makes excessive noise, and doesn't get you anywhere faster..
Unfortunately though, the only relief from the excessive conservatism of the majority of cars in the so-called "Golf class" (the class of compact cars, named after the Golf which created that market segment) seems to be the Alfa Romeo 147 (another European Car of the Year award winner)
Well I think I'll make it the XSi 2.0 16v 5dr version. It seems to be the fastest with a top speed of 127 mph and 0-60 mph on 9.3 seconds.
Haven't decided yet though.

Thanks Remko -^
That's a pretty nice looking car, expecially for a two box four door hatch, much nicer than the Golf.
Now, apparently, the Peugeot boss at the time when this car was being designed was so furious that the company decided to go with the 307 design, rather than a more traditional design, that he resigned!
It's a practical, rational car, the 307, but lacks the charms of the old 306 in terms of handling excellence and extremely comfortable ride quality.. The 306 was also pretty good in terms of interior design, too.. The dash board was particularly low, giving very good visibility over the front of the car, and, the whole interior had a very spacious sort of airy ambience to it, thanks to the large windows..
Mind you, the 306 wasn't without faults though.. The gearshift (manual) was truly awful, and the clutch action was wierd.. Whilst the turbo diesel was an honest, hard working engine, the 1.8 litre petrol powered engine combined unremarkable performance with a remarkable preference from RON95 fuel.. But these were about the only faults it had..
So, their you go.. A honest review of the 307 from a former Peugeot owner..
