Okay, not much else that is new, except that we now see some more cars of the NFS6 line-up in action:

See the other 12 new screens at the Official NFS6 site. (http://www.ea.com/eagames/official/nfs_hotpursuit2/home.jsp)
Since there is nothing that indicates otherwise, I'm assuming that these are still PS2 screens we're looking at.

This reminds me so much of that big bridge in "Celtic Ruins" (I think &( ) in High Stakes where you get the big air just a bit before entering town (hmm, it's been so long I hardly remember!)

Ooh, lanes are still at least three-cars-wide though! Wasn't it you, Wazza, who posted something about how wide the driving lanes are in NFS-Porsche? ^_^

Hmm, the cars all seem to have something of a "satin" sort of reflectivity, not a highly polished paint look to them. :?
Bloody stupid site, with its sound effects.. Just got my brains blasted out when I visited, and, the sounds played, super loud..
But, I'm glad to see these new screenshots.. It seems as though the reflection maps used on the tracks have received a bit of an update.. Time for me to do the same for the GT-NFSmods chrome maps..

Looks good...but probably for PC it'll put F1 2002's graphics to shame, but I could be wrong...I AM an idiot...8)~
Still no updates on when the actual release date will be tho??? )=)

I havent' found any data, just speculation on HP2 release for the PC, but you can bet they're shooting for Christmas release, as that'll guarantee them a great deal more sales if they hit it, so, ready or not that's a good bet, maybe, release and patch?

It makes you wonder about the lanes. Maybe the EA devs can't drive worth crap and need a big lane.
Just an idea. ^_^

I seriously doubt that. Here is a thread (http://www.simbin.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?s=3ceb221779efffff;act=ST;f=27;t=638 ;st=0) about a new rev of the GT mod I have been playing in F1 2001 and I think that its graphics are very impressive as is its physics engine. Judging from the demo of F1 2002 things have only improved for that game.
There is another thread at HighGears's F1 2001 forum about a new reflection map that some made and it is really impressive.

yes it was me.. well spotted...... racing F1 tracks or Bathurst is much harder.... the roads are only 10 metres wide, rather than 30 metres...

Hhi, GT0-86, welcome here! Great to see you on TotalNFS!
I sort of agree with you about the pictures. It sort of looks like a lot of "problems" or odd things are carried over in the new game. Still, we can't really be sure how the "game" looks until we see it animated! Here's hoping it's good
