I just finished a session online in klose's pit. I have been mostly stock the last few days and enjoying it a lot. The names may have changed but the old online spirit seems as good as ever it was. Great lads and lasses and great races.

Yes it was good Geezer :) Good to see SOUL there too. Good idea about the evolution debate! You start it off ;)

Just watching the Rally on the box for a while for a breather. Argentina I think. I have the TV sound down while I do this rain dance :D Worked too. It's too damn hot.

Ok I will start it.

My theory of evolution.

One day long, long ago, probably over a trillion years ago or more, a travelling tribe of Aliens on a doodle* hunt on the other side of the milky way took a short cut through our solar system. For some reason they decided to picnic on Mars on the way through but some other Aliens called the Ozmonites had bought Mars and put a big NO ENTRY sign in orbit. After a heated discussion they decided Earth was a good second choice. After all it was that or war with the Ozmonites. After the picnic one of the young males, who was called God, got left behind, probably due to a clerical error.

As he had a life expectancy of at least a trillion years the young Alien was in for a very, very long wait. He was very, very lonely. Then one day millions of years later he came across a group of apes having a tea party. He was delighted and found that with the help of his universal translator he could converse very well with these new chums. Before very long a young female called Zera caught his eye. To cut a long story short they had it off in no time and the result was a human baby. Soon all the other Ape girls wanted one of these new 'smoothie' babies and so the lucky old Alien had a great time. He became a kind of sex god and thanked his lucky stars he got left behind all those years ago. Sometimes he missed a good leg of pickled doodle but one can't have everything. Happily, God eventually got picked up in 1956 by his people around Roswell and now teaches humanic studies in a distant galaxy. So there you have it. My theory.


*A kind of plant but with the characteristics of a very pissed off tiger.
