Anyone have Jedi Knight II or played the demo? I played the demo last night and I'm gona go out and buy it today probably. I think the game is great! http://www.lucasarts.com has the demo for download. I think the lightsaber fighting alone makes it worth the effort. ;)
On that though, who's planning on seeing Star Wars Episode 2? From what I hear there is a really cool fight scene towards the end. I've not seen it yet, but i'm sure I will eventually. :HB:
Tried it and well no wont be buying it, I'm holding out for UT2k3 and CS-CZ

I bought the game and played it for a week before I got bored with it. If you like those types of games, it would be worth getting, but I'm not into FPS games much. A couple of local gaming mags have given it great reviews 9/10 etc.

I played the demo as well...I will probably buy it when I get the money....its still $50 around here...maybe it will go on sale. The lightsaber fights sold me as well Josh.
As far as the movie goes...dont listen to the critics, they will never like star wars. And dont listen to those people who think its "cool" to hate star wars either. In my opinion it was a very fun movie that kicks ass! The visuals in this one were even better than the others. To me it seemed very much like 5th Element when it comes to the vast visuals and amount of activity going on the background. There were also some very gratuitous scenes that all star wars fans will really love, but I wont ruin it for you here... ;)

I haven't bought it, tried it, or even seen it in action yet, but I hear that it can start off a bit slow and then really kicks when you get to the more Jedi-oriented sections. Just repeating hearsay! :Peace:
I don't like it, but maybe just because I got stuck early in the game. Only thing I liked was the lightsaber and the slow-motion when you lightsaber somebody ;)
Darn Games where you have to think are nothing for me, too may buttons to press confuse me. left, right, accelerate & brake that will do, or left, right, shoot & reload :p
Slider: I've heard of people running the JK2 demo just fine on a voodoo5, so do you have the latest drivers ?

There's a version for xbox I'm going to try renting it for a week first before I buy it. I just rented "Burnout" for xbox and had fun with it but won't be buying it. Burnout lets you choose from 5 styles of generic "sporty" cars and no tuning options except manual or automatic tranny. The tracks are pretty cool, and a race of 3 laps goes for between 7 and 10 minutes. The graphics are kind of fuzzy (even with my new glasses) but it's fast paced and fun, just not a keeper game. It reminded me of "California Cruising" with marginally better graphics. I learned my lesson buying Gotham Racing for xbox - I rent 'em first, then buy 'em if I like 'em.
