just wondering if anyone has some tips/tricks/etc. for getting better video performance from nfs4. seems like i remember some dll file(s) someone had hacked/edited to increase fps.

Remko 05-10-2002, 07:38 PM True, this was the Direct3d dll from NFS Porsche, renamed & applied to NFS4, it would give a lot better framerate - with Nvidia cards at least, I can't say for sure if this goes for other (Ati) cards too. You can try it out easily by using this Graphics Patch made by 'Skully' right here: http://design.nfscheats.com/files.php?v=4&s=utils Running this installs the new dll for you, but also re-installs the original if you're not happy with the result. ;) |
