..Cause Alrik just got his first own car (together with the missus ofcourse)

A memorable day indeed...i've been driving for years but now for the first time i can actually say i own a car myself :D :D :D .

For those interested:
It's a '94 Nissan Sunny 1.4i sedan Clair. Has nice extras like powersteering/sun roof/rear spoiler/central lock (not sure if that is what it's called in English) and we had a radio/CD-player installed.
She looks as good as new and has been taken care of really well by the previous owner. We bought it at the local official Nissan dealer so we paid a bit extra but at least we know we wont have any unexpected failures.
She runs like a dream and has really decent handling/behaviour on the road.
We wont have to be afraid we wont be seen: she signal red :D .

I'll have my m8 bring over his digital camera so i can post a pic soon....

hmmm did i mention i'm happy  :HB: :D :D :D

Hi, Alrik!

Wow, congratulations on the car! I know I have loved cars and motorcycles since I was very small. I was by far the youngest person in my class in high school and was therefore, the last to drive, and was somewhat jealous about that. I ran out and bought a motorcycle as soon as I could possibly operate one legally on the road (learner's permit), at 15 1/2 years. Shortly after my 16th birthday, the day I took my test for my full license, my mom gave me the keys to her beloved car, and told me it was now mine (1973 Porsche 914 which my father bought for her 4 days after I was born) I will never forget that day, or my first car. I was just speechless and stunned  . I hope your first car brings you that same kind of joy and gives you trouble-free operation for as long as you own it. I hope in the future, when you look back on it, you have nothing but the warmest memories! Sincere congratulations, Alrik, wonderful news that you now own your very own automobile!

first car! SWEET - now that I've read this thread you won't have to describe your car to me via email sugar! I remember my first car - my daddy bought it for me - it was a 65 'stang, teal green, 4 spd, 289, fat tyres on Cragers... wheeeee!!! I'd never drove a stick before and that took some burnouts to get used to hee hee!
I didn't get into motorcycles til I was in my 20s but the first one I ever drove was a Kawasaki 900 LTD! A bit much for a beginner so I bought myself a little Kawasaki 440 LTD. That was good for about a season then I bought my first Harley, a 76 sportster... then traded up for an 83 FXRS Harley... ahhhh those were the days!
Enjoy your car, Alrik, and be sure to watch out for those other jerks on the roadways. You can bet very few of them are watching out for you!
