Lamborghini Murciélago. In game:
Here are some screenshots of the Murciélago in game. Since people wanted to see more, I provide more screenshots of it.. I'm trying to get the reflections to look exactly like EA's one, so, looking at screenshots of their Murciélago, I made a new chrome map, to try and achieve this goal..
I'm not quite their yet, but, they are better than before. These pictures are at night, because I have yet to tune the chrome map for daytime and other weather conditions.. (Have to tweak the levels settings.)
As you see it, it has about 2700 polygons. Things to do are the mirrors (I just box model the basic shape for them, and, extrude faces where needed), and, the seats and exhaust pipes need to be done.. A driver must also be included.. Since I don't have much space on the texture map left, I won't be able to do an entirely new driver, with new textures unfortunately. And I don't want the polygon level escalating above 3000.

looks pretti good , from what l can see.
night images arent the best, but it does look good:D
BTW, have or are u planing to make any aussie cars?
No. And I never will make any Australian cars.. I prefer to make the ones that are rare, expensive and not usually seen.. I don't make cars which I see everyday, I just find it boring..
Dylan: Turn your monitor brightness up.. My screen is only at 50% brightness and I can still see the images properly, and easily..

I never ever seen a Holden in real life ^_^
Dylan: Ok, well, use a graphics program and just adjust the Gamma correction slightly, or, use the gamma adjustment for your video card.. It's really a matter of guess and hope with gamma levels/brightness levels..
Next pics will be in daylight brightness levels..
For now, I have to work out why Z-Modeler doesn't want to work.. But, I've got the mirrors for this car done, and they look fine, and, are only about 40 polygons each..

The car is gorgeous. Why night? that seems like an odd choise to take the pics.:)
Eddie (5speed): They are at night because I had yet to sort out the chrome maps for day time light conditions.. I've now done the one for CHRD (chrome rain daylight).
Also did the mirrors too, but, lost the smoothing info somewhere between exporting from max format to 3ds, and then importing 3ds into Z-Modeler.. And the mirrors initially where about a million times too large..

The car looks nice purple
I'm not sure if the Violet Purple Metallic is actually a colour for the Murciélago, but, it was for the Diablo 30th Anniversary Special Edition models (and the SE30s converted to Jota spec.), so, I included it here.. (And besides, it looks good).
I'd be happy if someone could provide me with a list of colours (and swatch of all of the colours) for the Murciélago.

If you like rare, ever considered the Alpha Carabo. I can't say ive ever seen more than 1 picture ever, but i know it well, as matchbox had the #75 purple one out for many years.
Some might argue that since most people are more familar with everyday cars that the would be as likely to spot a flaw in one that is rarely seen (not that yours will have any flaws). In any case, i don't mind being the only high grade modeller doing Australian Cars.:D
I also prefer to stick to modelling stuff that I can get blueprint drawings of as well..
I can model without them, but prefer not to.

Looks very nice, chris. But I have to agree that the pictures were so dark, that I could hardly make something out. I'm guessing that you're running your monitor at a more brighter setting than many others. ;)
Took the liberty of modifying the gamma correction with PSP with your preview pic:

Here's another preview. (<- too lazy to use FTP. :p )
Remko: Thanks for that.. My monitor is only set at 38% brightness, but, being a Sony Trinitron Multiscan monitor, it is naturally much brighter than most other monitors, that's just the way the new FD Trinitron based monitors are..
I don't ever set the brightness more than 50%, because it is then too bright.
The exact monitor I have is called the Sony Trinitron Multiscan E230. It's at the top end of the 17" monitor category.
