DSC_0780 is my favourite. :) chris 10-13-2007, 02:24 AM Some General Electric CF6-80 engines from Singapore Airlines Cargo Mega Ark Boeing 747-412F/SCD 9V-SFF. It's a nice warm feeling as these engines pass so close by. ;) A bit smelly too. :) chris 10-13-2007, 03:07 AM This Fedex MD-11F approached over the airport, and swung around into the landing pattern. It arrived in smoothly and gracefully, until the point of touchdown. It made one of the hardest landings I've ever seen. :eek: It was impossible to get a better photo of the landing, too many objects and fences in the way - but the smoke tells the story - and this was after much of it had dissipated. The first two photos were zoomed right in to 300mm, which on a digital Nikon means about 400mm or so - the plane was a very long distance away.
