No - that perfectly good double espresso didn't go to waste just for the sake of a photo. :) Not something as delicious as that.
I made that with a Gaggia Classic coffee machine, Gino Rossi CC45 grinder and some Lavazza Grand'Espresso beans.
The camera is a Nikon D80 SLR, 10.2 mega-pixels, with 18-135mm and 70-300mm lenses. Using 4GB SDHC card.

Oh no, you've gone to the Dark side! ^_^
Good to see you still have your love for coffee - nice shot!

Oh yes, I love my coffee. :) I must be the only one with a commercial type/size coffee grinder in a normal house. :)
I modified the Gaggia coffee machine a little bit, you can modulate the water flow a bit and the pressure. It's now a lot more forgiving, with a wider range between too fast water flow (meaning no crema and a flavourless coffee) and too restricted flow (meaning no flow of water, or over-extracted and very bitter coffee). The machine is actually very simple inside - there isn't much in it.
Fortunately, I've got one with the Italian made Ulka EK water-pump (16 bar, 700cc/min), the one that is easily adjusted. There is another version with an English made pump. There is hardly any info on that pump, so calibrating it is difficult (done by taste alone).

This is the grinder (minus the bean hopper on the top). Gino Rossi Tipo CC45A. Anno di fabricazione: 2004.

That's the bad thing about the glasses, the show up fingerprints badly.

There is local coffee shop that I frequent as my "morning office". The Swiss owner is a coffee connoisseur and a distributor for commercial coffee machines. I like a cup every now and then but he insists that I would enjoy it more if I purchased (as he has) a $12K coffee machine for my home.

Ah yes, like one of those Nuova Simonelli Aurelia machines:

I want one of those.
I also want a new Nikkor 600mm lens for my camera, but hence, neither of those will happen soon. The Nikkor is nearly AUD$17,000...
