Hello. I have a big problem and hope that someone can help:
My NFS Most Wanted crashes when i'm trying to play it with my Genius "SPEED WHEEL 3 Vibration". I have correctly installed drivers and can't understand whats happening...
Everytime i'm trying to play it with my brand new "Wheel", the screen (and voice) is just "freezing" - and only thing that i can do is restart. But the wheel is correctly working in other games and NFS works fine without wheel too. I'm having the same problem with NFS Underground 2, but in other racing games wheel works fine. If someone knows how to fix it, please help, its very important for me !

Return it and buy a Logitech MOMO. The game might not support your wheel.

True, the Momo is a great WHEEL, too bad the pedals suck.
Even with the 4.60 drivers from Logitech, I still have to pull the plug to reset it. I'm currently working on a permanent solution (I hope) by using my old LGP (Yellow) pedals. Electricaly, they work fine, I just need to extend 3 wires to fit. This was tested in Widows Game Controllers and DXTweak2. -^
It's alive! works fine so far. So if you have one of the old LGP wheels kicking around, you can swap the cable from the Momo to the GP pedals and extend the wires to fit. Make sure you check the function before you fasten the base back on.

Sorry, the best mass-produced wheel on the planet (meaning not including some of the super-expensive and custom jobs) is the original Logitech Momo Force, aka Momo Red or Momo Sr. Maybe if you qualified your statement with "still available", I wouldn't say anything. I don't know what I am going to do when mine finally dies.

I dont have any issues with my pedals.I have to "unplug" the USB from the PC every now and then, but other than that, works like a charm.

I'll agree the MOMO is a nice wheel, I like mine. :) And it's probably one of the most well supported wheels because it is so popular. It should work with most any racing game I'd think.
I won't dissagree about he Momo being a great wheel.-^ Mine is a couple of years old now, and the wheel is still solid, so maybe they fixed the pedal problem at the factory.
I did notice, when I had mine apart, the pot was a bit loose in the pedal, and when I managed to pull the pot out of the pedal, it had a NAIL in it. Talk about "Patching" a problem ^_^
As far as having to unplug the USB connector every now and then, I pity those folks that only have rear usb ports. They would have to crawl under their desks to pull and replug the thing in every few hours. No big deal for those of us with front ports, but even so, having to leave a game to reset the wheel, restart the game, and get going again is a major PITA to me, especially when you are online. =((
Just to update my previous post, the GP pedals are still working fine and I haven't had to pull the plug yet, after testing in MW,MBWR,PU and a couple of others. The only issue is on the brake side. very minor fluctuation there ,but easily overcome with a bit of DZ, or dxtweaking.
I would still highly recommend the Momo, if asked, with a note on the pedals. I know there are some manufacturers that make pedals for the momo and others, I just can't think of them right now.&(

i havnt had any of the problems that others mention with my MOMO, altho i was testing the steering+ throttle in GTR earlier, and even with the throttle fully depressed, it only let me throttle to about 95%..., but i then adjusted some sensitivity settings and that little annoyance was gone! :) so i cant recommend it highly enuff to any1 that wants a good wheel
