Hi,
Steve Fossett has broken the world-record and flown non-stop around the world in over 80 hours, and beaten the non-stop flying record by 17 miles!
Shortly after takeoff he though he had catastrophically damaged his aircraft, and prepared to bail out as it was thought the wing as about to collapse. During the climb he lost over a 1T of fuel (again) dsespite mods to the fuel vents, then later he suffered electrical problems, finally having to divert to Bournmouth in the UK just miles from the proposed lanbding site at Mildenhall in Kent.
He made it though!! :D :D :D :D :D
Best regards,
Robin.
