As the title says, post your fave. FS screenshots! :)

I've attached one I like a bit from my current flight, and another I did a while back of a plane I painted:

Well I'm not sure I can call this a favourite but I think it's interesting. I was testing a SAS 747-400 (yes I know they only had an old 747 and that was before the new scheme but I like the new scheme so when I found one, based on a Posky model I think, then I just had to try it, and I actually have Dan Viking 747-200 in original SAS period colours but I wasn't testing that then) and when I was nearing the runway I suddently saw a AI name in the sky, Comet! I never knew FS used some of the vintage planes as AI aircraft but appearently it does. The Comet is partly behind the cloud and only the name is showing, sadly it didn't land on the runway that I'd waited for since it seemed to be heading in that general direction but then I took this show while some other AI planes were taking off and taxiing on the other side.

FS does indeed use the vintage planes for traffic. Try Boeing Field (KBFI iirc) and you might find a Lockheed Vega flying around.

I only noticed some Singapore 747's in my latest flight around Changi. I just did some touch and goes with the F18 Hornet, a nice plane to fly. :)

Where's Changi and where did you find a real-life airliner in FS, or do you have a AI add-on? Pacifica however looks almost like a carbon-copy of the classic scheme for the danish ariliner Maersk Air however (yes that Maersk company).

Thanks for the info :)

Changi Airport is in Singapore (WSSS), and the real airliners are from Project AI. I spent ages downloading every single aircraft set on the Project AI website. :) But still didn't manage to find any AI Antonov AH-124's.

Installation is fairly simple, they have their own installer - and you just download the archives and load them through the installer.

Word of warning - disable default MS traffic, or at least MS airliner traffic, or you'll never get a landing slot because the traffic will be so heavy. Great fun with a Concorde giving it a bit of hurry up on landing approach to make sure you don't get stuck behind a 757 or 767. So you fly the descent at 380kias, and the approach at 325kias - and at last minute drop back to normal approach speeds.

In myFS, I usually see Maersk 737's if I'm flying out of Paris, or heaps of BMI or Ryanair planes if I'm going from London. Sometimes departing London, I'll have a Virgin Atlantic or other heavy plane going to New York depart well ahead of me, and I manage to overtake it by the time I've reached Lands End. ;)

This is an old topic I'm reviving, with a remarkable FS9 screenshot. I'm surprised that FS9 can look as good as that.

Nice! :)

On the SSTSim forums, one of our customers has posted these unbelievable screenshots:

You'll need to register on the forums to view the topics - but it is well worth it.

A few more screenshots from me.

The interior screenshots are of SSTSim service pack 1. The lighting and wall textures are my work. :) The others are various assorted landings and flight photos.

Darwin12.jpeg is at Darwin airport.

I painted this one last night to test Illustrator CS3 (for creating the logos):

Look closely at the logos - they are different from normal. :) These are the new logos for Qantas. They will never appear on a Concorde though. :( I don't mind the new logo, it's much more contemporary than the old one.

Very beautiful/cool screenshots all, just a shame my computer doesn't seem to be able to show graphics all that nice at a even remotely smooth framerate.

One question though, Venom where did you get that Super Tomcat paintjob? Are those AI-planes or real fly-able ones because I can't remember seeing at least the Super Tomcat before?

The F-14 is payware, which can be bought Here (http://www.irissimulations.com/news.php), while the others are just free addons. I forgot where I got them from though. The Saber also happens to be free and It is one mighty fine plane. I got it from Avsim (http://www.avsim.com/), although Simviation (http://www.simviation.com/menu.html) should have it too. It is made by Kirk Olsson, who also has a bunch of nice F-16's to. :)

Venom800TT: Have you tried any other payware planes like Level-D 767, RFP 747-200, PMDG Boeings, etc?

I won't mention SSTSim because it'd be naughty of me to suggest it. ;)

I'm going to post a few screenshots later, I'm about to do Lisbon to Barbados in a moment with the Qantas plane above. The plan will be:

0. Lisbon
1. Espichel 112.50mhz N38° 25.4' W09° 11.1'
2. Lutak N37° 0.00" W15° 0.00'
3. Follow the track all the way to Barbados
4. Barbados :)

The actual route is on the 02 July 2003 Concorde En Route High Altitude Chart for London, New York, Washington, Toronto, Paris, Barbados and Antigua. Aerad still sells these for a cheap price! :D

More screenshots, with a near finished colour scheme:

http://supersonic.racerplanet.com/vh-eac-conc1.jpg
http://supersonic.racerplanet.com/vh-eac-conc2.jpg
http://supersonic.racerplanet.com/vh-eac-conc3.jpg

If a Concorde were in the brand new Qantas colour scheme, it might look like this. :)

The differences here compared to the previous identity for Qantas include the more contemporary kangaroo which was designed to fit the tail of the Airbus A380 properly (it had to go around a part that couldn't be painted). The Qantas logotype is now softer and more rounded, giving a more modern and less severe look than before.

Venom: Thanks for the information (and the screenshots) :)

Chris: What's there to say, it looks great, I've run out of superlatives.

Compared to your screenshots then I hesitate a bit to post this, but those who know my real flight history will know why I post this :)

Nice one Frank! :)

Helping to save the fortunes of Pepsi, with a high speed (325kts at 1000ft) low level fly-over of New York in Sierra Delta (F-BTSD) in the new Pepsi branding.

Scenery is Aerosoft's Manhattan scenery which is superb.

Wild weather, and severe turbulence out of Barbados yesterday. It's the same today as well. Storm clouds reaching up to 38,000ft. I've never seen the CG bugs on the mach-meter shunting back and forth in such a manner.
