Hi! I have seen occasionally something called Pursuit CTS in the screen during the pursuit. Initially I assumed it was the Bounty. But it wasn't. It raises up pretty quickly to big amounts and I don't know what it is for. Can anyone clarify that for me please? &( :help:

Cost To State?
I put this as a question, even though I am pretty sure it is the answer, because I never noticed the "CTS" on the screen. And I follow the Cost To State only when I am trying to get a milestone and I follow it by the milestone thingy on the upper right.

It means 'Cost To State' .
The CTS meter is above the speed meter.
It goes higher as you destroy stuff, ram traffic, hit police vehicles.
Tip. When you set the World detail to the highest (from the options) there is more stuff that you can destroy. (boxes, poles, parked cars, more signs appear in the world)

hmmmmm......
And all of this time I associated CTS with Cadillac's CTS auto. Thanks for the info. It's just too bad that the game, itself, can't give us more info on what some of this terminology means.

Thanks. One of my doubts is clear now. But can someone clarify the importance of that? Does it help build the bounty or reputation? Or is it just for our information?

I believe its like a "meter",you get the count so "high" depending on your specific milestone event and wanted level,it fills up and then adds to your milestone counter in the upper screen, then starts over again.I'm currently on Blacklist #3 and I notice that CTS counter at some 200,000 and my Milestone counter is at 500 of 600,000,but then all of a sudden the CTS is low again and my Milestone is up a bit more. The higher your wanted level the faster it accumulates of course.
Once you hit the high 4's and low 5's you will rack up real quick.

I don think CTS has anythin to do with the current HEAT LEVEL except that if u ram r make more damage to a higher HEAT LEVEL POLICE CAR u get more CTS. Other than that tiz fixed for the objects irrespective of the heat level.
The thing s it gets more clumsy in higher heat levels n eventually u ll ram more cars (both traffic n cops) n other objects. So u might notice tiz increasing fast.
Also u can c ur total CTS in RAP SHEET n compare it with other BLACKLIST MEMBERS too in RANKINGS. The more the CTS the more the FINE u ll hav 2 pay. As simple as that.

So again, people with more powerful computers have a gameplay advantage.

actually that's incorrect. Those items don't give you any advantage at all, in fact I'd say they hurt you when you hit them and having fewer to worry about is the advantage.

It is true, EVERYTHING you kamikaze brings up your CTS. When trying to hit a milestone with cost to state, just drive throught everything that you see. Street signs, poles, golf carts, tables, chairs, other cars, boxes, fences, you name it, it all adds up. The biggest CTS is for totally buggering up other cars!

Ya thats right, 4 CTS milestone events n CTS challenges thats the way 2 go. Esp. immobilizing police cars, hitting through pursuit breakers n damaging other traffic vehicles ll raise ur CTS pretty high

Note the best place to hit a police car is at the rear wheel. This will generally flip the car for an immobilization in just one hit. You should use speedbreaker (which increases weight as well as grip and steering), and NOS.

I was thinking more regular racing then CTS in pursuit. heh. But yeah you're right, they do give some CTS for everything you hit.

But if you disable too many of them, won't you escape before the challenge is complete?

But if you disable too many of them, won't you escape before the challenge is complete? You don't want to do this at level 1 or 2. At level 3 or higher, if there are backup cars remaining, they will usually show up in front of you if you just keep going forward.
