Just noticed that one on Avsim. It's a big download, but they say it has very detailed systems modelling. I'm off to test it now! It's got a VC as well! :)

The manual for this is over 330 pages long! I've tried it quickly, didn't manage to take-off yet. Putting the throttle levers forward triggered all manner of warning chimes! &(
When I learn how to get the systems sorted, I''ll try a short flight with it.

One thing to note, you might get a warning chime with a message "Flaps config". I believe, and don't quote me on this that it is just a message telling you that the plane is adjusting the flaps for you.
That's what I think all the fuss is about. The FMC is a bit more complex, and don't ask me how to activate the arrivals page because I don't know how. I only got as far as a take-off and then my computer did a system zone 2 overheat.
I'm going to change the case to Antec P180 as soon as possible.

Any idea if it's stolen or not yet?
Who made it? Is it just a exterior-model like the two other Project Open Sky (I think it was) and MelJet or is it with authentic cockpit, systems, flightmodel etc?

Made by a group of Chinese developers. Not a rip-off of others either so it seems, just a damn good effort. It has a fully functional VC as well, not just a damn good panel.
Exterior model to be honest isn't up to Project Opensky standards, but then, Project Opensky interiors and panels (er, what interiors and panels!) are not up to the standards of this.
It's well worth reading the over 330 pages of manual that comes with this - otherwise you'll get into a panic when the alarms and buzzers start going off. And the manual shows you what everything means. It's quite a bit more sophisticated than anything else freeware I've seen, and more along the lines of the Precision Manuals (aka PMDG) 747-400.

I've attached a couple of screenshots of the iFly 747. Once you've got it setup to fly the required route, you could nearly go to sleep, knowing it will get there - eventually.
Mach 0.859 cruising speed is very, very slow for me. :) You look at the distance to go reading and cringe. It's certainly very different to the plane I normally fly where I've always got something to do.
Some of the interesting tech-features of this plane are that the gauges are all written in GDI+. That's a little bit unusual for a freeware offering. Last screenshot shows the exterior of Cathay 461 Heavy flying towards Hong-Kong's Kai-tak airport.

I have a problem with this plane, although it's probably just me not setting it correctly..
I tried doing a LAND3 auto-land with all 3 autopilots engaged. That appeared to work. The plane did call out 400, 300, 200, minimums, etc, but it didn't flare on landing, something it is reportedly supposed to do.
Instead it did a crunching 600ft/min touch-down and did a huge bounce.
