A Beta of this awesome Lockheed Tristar has been released. Now you can fly one of these old tri-engines in FS. I might try it and see what it is like. Visitors here feel free to post comments about it - you can register and participate in this forum too you know. ;)

The Tristar is defiantely a classic old airliner and there are plenty of fans for such planes around in the sim community. Isn't the Tristar also used as a military plane or am I thinking of another three-engined airliner, perhaps a DC?

The military one you are thinking of is the McDonnell Douglas DC10-30, also known as KC-10 Extender. We have one flying around outside of Sydney all the time from the US Air-force. Not sure what it is doing here, but it's big, dark grey and pretty hard to miss. And it apparently had a big engine failure recently as well. Oops!
