What's this new forum then?
This is a new forum some here have talked about, and now we've got it. This is where you can discuss anything flight simulator related. Ask questions, post answers, talk about the latest and greatest addons, or show screenshots and videos of your virtual adventures, or your incredible cross-wind landing in horrible storms.
Reviews??
Yes certainly we'll have reviews here of free-ware and payware stuff. When something is payware, it shall be noted as such and made clear to you. If the product has been provided by its authors, that shall be noted as well. Reviewing freeware products shall naturally consider that they are freeware, so naturally they won't be held to such high standards. Although this shouldn't deter you, since many freeware products are of an incredibly high standard.
If you wish to post a review, please let it conform to these standards:
Title: REVIEW - SIM NAME: Review title (eg, REVIEW - FS2004: Airbus A330)
Details: List the details and conclusions in following format:
Overall conclusions: (this title to be bold)
Pros: (this title to be bold)
+ List benefits or positives here in list form starting with plus symbol
+ List benefits or positives here in list form starting with plus symbol
+ List benefits or positives here in list form starting with plus symbol
Cons: (this title to be bold)
- List problems or negatives here in list form, starting with a minus symbol
Rating: rating out of 5 stars (eg, 4 stars)
Website: List the authors website here
Cost: List the cost OR write free here
The rating out of 5 starts should reflect your review, and your list of pros and cons. Something with 5 stars would need to be incredibly good with no problems or negatives at all. Something with 4 would also be very good, but perhaps with a few little drawbacks and so on, while something with 1 star would obviously be not very good. If something isn't good, try to be constructive in your criticism, write it in such a way that it is easy for the authors to understand what you didn't like about their work and then they can perhaps make improvements in the future if they wish to do so.
