"Your Final Warning From eBay"

Watch out for a dodgy e-mail purporting to be from eBay with that subject. It asks naturally for you to provide credit card details, and that is a dead give away to it being dodgy.

I'm thinking of saving the mail and firing it off to the federal police as an attachment, just for the fun of it. ;)

I've gotten several of these over the months. I can usually spot them right away as I read the email and hover over the link they provide, it doesn't link to ebay, but some other site. heh.

I get those too, but often to my other email addresses that aren't connected to my actual eBay account. Gets pretty obvious it's phony there lol.

Apparantly on one of my email accounts had an ebay account, never reported it, but yeah, just was interesting, you report the phony ones to ebay directly and they deal with it.

I know of someone who sold their hovercraft on ebay and everyone who bid got a second round offer on it, the winner and seller included....
