Pretty crazy stuff. Wasn't expecting that, wonder how Flavio will be feeling, after hand picking this driver to gain the crown, which he has, and now announced he's moving on.

Good on McLaren for securing a very talented driver. I bet the new Vodafone sponsor certainly helps in paying part of his bill.

Now that will leave an option maybe for Kimi or JPM to move to Ferrari in '07, but that could be around the same time as Rossi considers coming across.

Looking forward to the next couple of seasons, with new engines and rules..

I have a feeling, must watch out for Honda, I know their smaller high revving engines have a bit of grunt

Just a heads up, Duncan posted this a few hours ago in the main forum.
I've lost interest in F1 but I guess it's nice to have something unexpected to happend.

^_^, thanks.

I had this Off topic open since posting an hour back about my website.

Didn't see any F1 threads, so made it.
Didn't check main forum, as I knew Chris usually makes new threads about it in off topic. I thought I had beaten him. :look:

Lol, yeah I've tried having that happend too, especially lately. And it's true that most of the time Chris is the big poster here but you still beat him to it, it's just that Duncan beat you both ^_^

Greetings

Big poster on F1 news not any more.

If I wanted to watch puny engined little V8 open-wheeled cars, I'd watch that joke of a series A1 with its gripless, sloppy handling cars. But I don't watch A1..

Interesting move, I wonder what this means for Kimi & JPM. Has Kimi already a Ferrari contract for 2007 maybe ?

In the newspaper today "Flavio Briatore surprised about Alonsos move to McLaren"
How on earth could Alonso sign such a contract without his manager Briatore not knowing ?
