Sorry to hear about this Sean.
Just read this, and very sad.
I've just put through a very small sum across, never used PayPal before, and my card is maxed out at the moment.
Christmas time is never a good time.
Hope CJ can make a good recovery

Warren,
Thanks a ton bud. It is a bad time of the year for sure but i really appreciate your dontation. I have been contacted by a few people here and am very happy the turnout. I was told by my wife it was a stupid place to put this. I told her that you were my on line family for a long time and even if i just get a responce from 1 person then it was not a waste. Thanks again for your generosity. I sent a pic of CJ that was taken a day before we were told about her leg. I am waiting for new pics from New Bolton Center. It is 1.5 hour drive on a good day to get there from my house but we just had an ice storm and snow before that so i have only been able to get down there 1 time. She has been there since last wednesday and will be there at least until monday. The Dr. was nice enough to take some digital shots for me so when i get them I will be sure to post them here.

Sean plz say hi to ur cute wife for me. :) And tell her that u're not the only person who thinks that way! I always thought that if I'll need something, then RacerPlanet would be the one and only place where I'll ask for help!
Thanks everyone here for making this community the way it is.

I sadly cannot give a contribution but have wanted to at least give my best wishes since the thread went up so you didn't think that no-one cared but I was concerned you'd get your hopes up for donations which I can't give. This is indeed a bad time of year for it but I hope things will still turn out good. Sorry if this reads a bit akward but I'm not quite sure how to write this so it gets recieved in the positive way it was intended.
Best wishes
Frank

Best wishes and prayers are what it is all about. We all have a way to help out in anything. I appreciate that you took the time to write something here. It means alot to me and my family. You wrote it perfectly frank. This time of year is a very hard time for us all. Like i said before i appreciate that you took the time to post.
thanks once again. here is an updated pic of CJ.
This was taken this morning by the dr. since i cant get to the university to get updates etc in person. She was nice enough to take the pics for me.

Well the plates came out ok. But the infection is very bad. Also withouth the plates it will be months till the bone is completely healed enough for her to be out in the feilds. at least 4-6 months stuck in her stall. the infection is still very bad. she has a fever a few degrees above normal which is bad for a horse. She has been in there for almost 2 weeks now and they are still trying to get a good culture on the bacteria causing the infection. She gets meds through an IV in her neck. Not the most comfortable thing i would guess. Another problem is that she had to be force weaned. She was just starting to wean on her own but had to be seperated when we took her down there. alot to go through at the age of 8 months. but i hope it will make her stronger. she is a surviver and should make. Prognosis right now for the leg looks to be 100% bu the prognosis for the infection i was told is about 75% so we just take it a day at a time and wait for the phone calls.
thanks for asking.

Cj is now home. everythign went well and the infection is going down. We have to take her back again in a month but we are at about 80% prognosis on her full recovery. things look good for the future. thanks once again for all those who contributed. It really helped alot especially since once again the quoted amount almost doubled. I am still working on the Ebook about Cj with pics etc. Once i am done I will send to everyone who has helped out. Hopefully it will show you that you have helped a great little horse out and that your donations really enabled us to keep her alive.

You did alot Warren. I thank you so much for what you sent. Every bit has helped. Actually i was sent a donation by the DR. today also. She could only send a little bit as well but everything is helping. The support from racerplanet forums have been really good. I really thank you all for what you have done.
thanks
