All I can say is wow to the Apple 20" Widescreen Cinema display.
See www.apple.com/displays for info. I've got one of these things now. Absolutely awesome 1680x1050px normal resolution. :) The thing has better colour quality and brightness than my previous Sony FD Trinitron display!
Takes up less space on my desk as well. :D Lovely!
Expensive, but very nice, I'd need two of them.

Apparently you can run two, if your video card has two digital outputs.
Some of the video cards in PowerMac G5's do have two digital outputs.
The 30" one is not for PC though. :( It apparently uses two digital outputs for it's mammoth 2560x1600 resolution.
Nicest thing of the lot is that it has two USB ports on it and two Firewire ports on it. :idea: Good thinking Apple. The 23" one is a rip-off, but the 20" is really good value at AUD$1249.
I have dual monitors currently on my pc, but not this sorta I spose.
My comptuer is probably only worth $600 max now.

A G5 will be some time away. I use a G5 (and Adobe Indesign) sometimes at work, so that's my Mac "fix" settled.
One thing I did notice when I tried FS2004, is that everything looked sharper, especially text. :)
