Haven't edited all the pics yet, in fact only 6 out of 270 I shot last night.
I gotta say, I felt extremely excited about doing this job.
Note the back door was removed, so I could get a good view. Lucky, I'm not afraid of heights? ^_^

I got quite a few nice shots over the city, but will have a look at them when I get back from work. I just came home quickly on my lunch break...
Hope I can get more opportunities like this again!

I gotta agree with Frank!
You are one lucky dude, Warren. I'd love to do something like that - I love to fly and be around those mechanical monsters.
I did once work at a small reliever airport as a lineman (moves / fuels aircraft) and got to know the pilots of a Bell 222 (w/skids). He gave the definition of a helo as being "a million or so parts trying to escape oneanother - all at the same time." That has always stuck with me and your pictures just reminded me of that.
Thanks ^_^

Thanks guys. Was great fun, and the crew are pleased with the pics. Just have to provide full size copies to them now.
I have all the other pics on http://wazza.nfscity.com/aerial.htm

Very nice photos Warren!
What digicam do yo have? I'm planning on buying the Canon Powershot S2 IS for X-mas. :D Such a shame they didn't make any pink models of it... :p

Thanks mate.
I have a Canon 20D, Digital SLR.
And several lens, flashgun, tripods, 80Gb of portable storage... A hobby has turned into an obsession. ^_^
I always shoot RAW now, which makes images of between 6-10Mb each. Since beginning of February, when I got this camera, I've done 64,000 photos.
I have about 10 fairly recent photography outings, such as car shows, a wedding, an engagement, a 50th birthday party, and just loads others, that I don't have enough time to spend. I'm not even getting enough time to play my racing games. Haha.

Oh and about the S2 IS. I was/am a Canon fan, and recommended my dad to buy one, without even trying it myself. I've heard it's nice and all, however when we went to the camera shop, the one which caught our eyes more was the Fuji 9500...
9 megapixel, and a semi-SLR style twist zoom action. Must faster than pushing a button to zoom in and out. The range is really good too, up to about 380mm. Not quite Digital SLR prosumer standards that I'm now used to, but much better than the other consumer models out there.

thx for the recommendation buddy! I'll definitely look into it! I've started doing that, as a matter of fact. :D

Awesome pics Alex! Especially the Porsches. :p I adore the 911 995
And nice pics quality.
I would have downloaded all of ur photos, but my intenet traffic is VERY limited (500 MB/month). But thank God I have cable! :) And it's 2 Mbps. :)
Nice camera, I just read some reviews of it. -^
