Well at school today (a aviation mechanic school) one of the classes got to start a 700 hp Garret turboprop engine and our class got to watch. So I made some vids of course :D

Cool to watch!

Its interesting to watch the prop - as it speeds up it appears to reverse directions at times. Easy to see how people have become mesmerized by the sight and accidently stepped too close.

That actually has more to do with my crappy camara than anything else :p
It actually just looked like a transparent disk with stripes ^_^
