GM has revealed a $300,000,000 accounting error. :eek: It seems this error caused income figures to be over-stated by up to 35%.

And my wife just quite her job as an accountant for Pontiac, lol... Aingh, not good news for a company already in a tight spot.

From the article:
It found the error after conducting an internal review of its supplier credits, a matter that was also being investigated by US financial watchdog, the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Sounds to me like this admission is a preemptive strike by a company that already knew that the "error" existed.:mad:
That isn't good, GM has been making bad decisions for years now IMO, the biggest one was losing GMEMD as I have vioced before.

The biggest was dumping the F-body right when the like was called for... MAJOR BONER! :mad:
They are going ahead with Zeta now however it's not that bad, but, lets hope it's decent.

maybe their macs crashed with the right info lol
