Wow, that's funny, I was actually up on that pillar at the end (by using the camera-pan function and reset like in WR1) but I think I fell down when trying to drive over, by that was in the other direction, maybe it only works the way you drove. In any case it was a very interesting find :cool: :wave:

Oh no, it worked for me both ways &( (edit: I did climb up the hill though) Now how about some warp.. uhh... what's that Star Trek technology (edit: TELEPORT!) http://irqnine.info/videos/games/World%20Racing%202d.wmv There's another building that looks exactly like that, but it threw me into a huge space with no way to get out :eek:

Found that one the first night I had the demo, Way.Pretty cool. :cool: I take it you've done the trip through the carwash, from the back to the front, as well. -^
I finally got to the second offroad race, but I had to pause,(alt-tab) and leave it for a while. Wouldn't you know it, we had a major power outage here today, so I lost my place. =(( Now I have to start all over again. Oh well, good way to learn, I guess.

Hi guys. :wave: The tower teleport thingy is an easter egg.I dont know if there are any more in the Italy Scenario,but every Scenario has them,I understand. :cool:

I dont understand why Synetic didnt include a save feature in the demo.Of course there's one in the full game,along with a driver profile,which isnt in the demo either. :rolleyes:

Ayce,wait till you try the third mission.it's a wild offroad race in the Toureg,that had me frustrated beyond belief,as I just couldnt follow the odd floating yellow lines that marked the path to follow.What finally helped me,was switching to the arcade style direction arrows,and to the heli cam view,from the hood cam,so I could see ahead a bit farther.

The 4th race is wild. :cool: It's 5 laps on Italy 1,a high speed track using mostly the 4 lane divided road that rings the Scenario.Using the R32,and with traffic,you have to weave thru hitting 250 kph at least twice,an ave speed of 180 kph,finish at least 3rd,and acquire at least 50 drift points,which is where i constantly fail,since they insist you do the missions in 100% arcade mode. :mad:

Hope you have fun,and if this game ever shows up over here,I hope to see you guys online. :cool:

Well, I finally made it! Thanks for the tip Ric. -^
I did manage to get the drift points needed, but the only place I cound get any drifting was on the last turn before the finish,and luckily, there was no traffic coming. ;) Of couse, this was after much practice to find where I could drift at. (Done in free ride, full arcade, no traffic)
Now all I have to do is get the full game. ^_^

Congrats on finishing that 4th Mission,Ayce. -^ And YW for the tip about the 3rd one. ;) As for finding the game,good friggin' luck! I've looked everywhere online,and AFAIK,it doesnt exist outside of Germany,yet.This was exactly the thing I begged TDK to try and avoid when they announced WR2 last year.Get the damned thing in stores everywhere ASAP,i said,over and over. :rolleyes:

Its going to be mid October before it gets to The Netherlands,and who knows how long to cross the Atlantic. =[
