Well, some time back you may remember I mentioned getting an LG Flatron F700P screen. Well, today it has just died - and I'm not impressed.
This screen is much newer than my Sony Trinitron one, and it has already failed!

Well this sure is a bad start of a day, you lost a newer monitor and I may not get my Concorde after all, they just sent an email saying their bookkeeper is on holiday until monday so no transactions can be ordered or something, so maybe they don't even have what I paid for :(
I've lost a PSU a year or two ago, barely one year old, while the AOpen PSU from 1998 in the old tower still works today, as does the Pioneer slot-in CD-ROM, big difference in things huh :(
By the posting I gather you have another monitor to work with, I just hope the LG was needed for paid work.
Greetings

I have my trustworthy Trinitron display, the ones they don't make any more. :)

Far too many things that aren't made anymore works better than new things, even right up to real cars.
My Philips 107S CRT 17" monitor is quite old and can only go to 1280x1024 @ 60Hz but it's still working nicely (Philips have been the default brand for electronics in my family since before I was born).
If your monitor is under 1 year then can't you perhaps get it repaired? (I don't know Australian warranty regulations so I'm just guessing).
