The JAXA group participating in the development of the next generation SST to fly at around Mach 2.4 (near 3000km/hr) will undertake another test of the scale model of their airframe at Woomera in South Australia.
The craft will be powered by a rocket, and should then detach and glide back to earth. The test will measure all manner of airframe performance at high speed.
