Hi everyone!

I just downloaded the 'Martinraceway' dragstrip track, but it doesnt appear anywhere in the game! I extracted the martinraceway contents from the zip file
into the /tracks/martinraceway/ directory as instructed in the ReadMe file, but the raceway still does not appear in the track list.

Was it only designed for one specific NFS version?
Please get back!

Thanks

Which version of NFS are you using?

I think Justin's NFS tracks were only for NFS4.

Unless this is for Racer.. Been so long since I've done anything NFS related I can hardly remember anything about it. :o

Thanks m8, I have NFS4.

The ReadMe file doesnt even say which version it was meant to be on! :(
Do those add on tracks just work straight away after doing the necessary zip file extractions?

Does Martin himself ever reply to these threads?
Or maybe others who have had such problems?

Thanks!

Yeah, he visits RP often (he's one of our staff members). I've made a note for him to have a look here.

Martin Raceway is for Racer, not NFSHS. It won't work in any NFS version. Sorry about that.

All of my old NFS stuff is located on this webpage: http://pitstop.totalnfs.net/nfs

My Racer stuff is on: http://pitstop.totalnfs.net

Racer is free as far as I know, so you could certainly download racer and try the track anyhow. :)

Thanks for the reply.

But omg, how easy/hard is it to convert a Racer track into a NFS-4 track? (I'm not so good with PC's let alone programming tracks ) :(

Have you seen the Fast&Furious Supra for the NFS 4? I'm very sure that the 4-mile drag strip would indeed be very worthwhile to test the supra on - I managed to reach 1500MPH on a 1.5Mile stretch of road, being on part of a track that I downloaded...

Is there a tool that does a straight track conversion for you? Is it a matter of changing the file formats?

Sori if i'm coming across as lame, but I'm not quite the techy type :( :(

As far as I know, there are no tools that allow you to convert from any format or game into a NFS track. So no, it isn't possible to convert it.
