Alphasim has released this wonderful looking rendition of the famous old Tupolev -16 Badger, one of the veterans of the cold-war.

And PMDG, not content with having dropped everyones jaws with the stunning 747-400 released not too long ago are working on the 747-400 Freighter, complete with the famous opening nose.

Very nice, although to my knowledge there is already a very nice 747-400F out there as freeware, although that's only the model itself, Meljet I think.

The Catalina looks great too, did I mention btw I've seen one up and close in real life a few months ago? Airplane and car museum also with a DC3, Starfighter, Meteor, Caravelle (yes the big jet), classic cars, some classic danish KZ-planes etc.

I doubt the freeware one is in the same league as PMDG's one. That's out of this world, just like their passenger 747-400. :)

Fast reply! Well as I said, it was only the model so it's not nearly as complete as the other one. Btw I added to the above post.

I see a DC3 flying regularly, always know when it is flying from the distinctive sound of its engines. :) Also seen a Lockheed Super-Constellation flying a few times. :)
