Hi guys reading throught the posts i can se that this game does have many fans.... and i thought about dowlading the demo.. after installing the patches to the game .. .. the Problem here is when i start the racewhich turns out to be running so slow it is unplayable ( it Stutters). I own a Comaq R4035 15.4" WXGA screen, with ATi 128MB Mobility Radeon Xpress . Amd Athlon 64 3500+ and 1024mb ram. Any help would be great.

-- I also tried FEZ's help in the Other thread about changing the being made In the config.ini in your WR folder change the line "SampleRate=48000" to 44000 or 32000.. but Problem still Persists ..
-- i updated all drivers for most of the hardwares on my laptop
-- Tried making change tolowr settings in the Mbwr Setup .. etc etc.

Pls help me get this game to run ... so i can enjoy playing and being part of the MBWR comunity....

Welcome to racerplanet forum

Hmm that sounds like a quite powerful videochip, so there should not be much problem running WR. Have you tried the 3D settings of your videocard, if they are all to the max may still cause stutter. How is the situation in other games ?

Maybe it is the drivers you use. ATI never released special drivers for Mobility chips until recently, so maybe you use some default Windows drivers ?
There are mobility drivers available at ati.com now and also at Compaq/HP.

And there could always be something running in the background that slows down the system

You see I am only guessing here, maybe somebody else with a modern notebook has some more ideas.

You should ask in the synetic support forum, the guys/developers there are very helpful. http://www.synetic.de/board/

I'm sorry but I never managed to run a driving game decently on my laptop, which has an ATI Mobility Radeon as well.

I'll try if I can get the newer drivers, too &(
