VB V8 Challenge caps $20

last week my lady friend told me that there were "VB, V8 Challenge" caps for $20 in a shop a few suburbs away. So I told her to grab me one the next time she was going that way.
Well Thursday she did and she was correct it is VB (Victorian Bitter logo) above the words "V8 Challenge" written across the front. Not sure if there are colours to choose from but this one is black.
The peak has a checkered flag across half of it.

It has the "V8 Supercars" logo at the back and a few small logos on either side including:
ten (channel ten logo)
RECARO
MOMO
Bridgestone etc.

When she mentioned it I thought all my Christmas's had come at once but it's not the best looking design IMHO but it says it all. "VB", "V8 Supercars" & "V8 Challenge" :D

I just thought to let you guys know if you would like a "V8 Challenge" cap they're out there just waiting to be adopted :D

Oh, and BTW, last week she said there were heaps in this particular shop. Yet it was the last one there on Thursday. So don't miss out in your area.

I reckon that deserves a comission, don't you? 8)~

You all realise that the VB V8 challenge cap is for the V8 challenge Skaifey and Jr Johnson do before each race in their Au XR-8 and VX SS standard cars??

The ones with the race livery but the green back ... thats what its for.

Just so you arent getting it confused with the game of the same name ... although you probably realise that, just thought id bring it to your attention.

monaro ; Sorry she never said the name, just that it was a new shop. Probably a 'nick nacks' dollar shop type thing. I'll try to remember to ask her in the morning.

Goofball : Yeah it could have been easily mistaken. That's why I said "VB V8 Challenge". The only green on this one is the VB logo at the front.

At bathurst Larry Perkins and Dick Jonson (I think) did the Holden vs Ford burnout comp. They went on crowd cheers to guage the votes for best burnouts. The Ford fans made more noise but Perkins in the silver ute produced far more smoke.

I think it was nice of them to let the Fordies think they had won something that weekend. :D
