View Full Version : Picture wanted: MSW Type-33 3-spoke rim Frank N. Any ideas? Frank blackice111288 02-11-2005, 02:46 PM what about the Advan Super Racing wheel or the Advan Oni? sorry, the writing is all in japanese. http://www.advan.com/product/advan/superad_sa3rv2/advan_sa3rv2.jsp http://www.advan.com/product/advan/advan_oni/advan_oni.jsp the Oni's are strait sexy, look at the 180sx at the bottom of that page. Frank N. O. 02-11-2005, 03:15 PM Those do look nice, although a slight problem is that they are split and with exposed lug-nuts and other details making the rims very hard to clean, otherwise they do look nice, I've seen the split-spoke ones on a BNR32 and that wasn't too shabby. Frank blackice111288 02-11-2005, 03:25 PM i dunno if you can get center caps with them or not, but they good regardless to me. im gonna do a search on the wheel you posted and see what i come up with blackice111288 02-11-2005, 03:33 PM here you go: http://rob.carlile.home.mchsi.com/miscpages/black89T.jpg From the site: "It was an '89 and I'd only had it for about a year when a bluehair in a K-car made an oncoming left turn in front of me. I never even had time to hit the brakes. I was doing about 30-35 mph. This car was totaled by the insurance company. I found it incredible that it cost more to fix this car than its book value of $10,500. I did, however get much more from the insurance company. By the time I got done with them, they gave me $16,500 for the car. It was in really excellent shape with some nice mods. The wheels were MSW type 33. The car only had 50,000 miles on it." poor supra.......:'( :'( :'( :'( Frank N. O. 02-11-2005, 03:34 PM Thanks for the picture, it's the first one not directly on I've seen (1996 Tirerack ad in Car and Driver magazine, the one with the 427 Corvette C4 :D ). Hope no-one was injured in the accident.
