g'day all,
over the past few years i've done conversions for GHG/SR3. now that both of those communities have more or less bitten the dust i decided to look @ WR and to my surprise it's not a bad game to edit for..below is the very first piece of AM that i'm aware of.

the car is Peter Brocks A9X torana, it still needs lots of work and i need to figure out why its black not the colours that it should be....i'll be in hospital for the next few days hernia surgery so i'll get back to it when i can, just wanted you all to see that AM(Australian made/Aussiemuscle) is alive and very well.

Good luck with the surgury and welcome to WR
I've wished for some Aussie Muscle for WR a while now as well, even though the only ones I know the best are the late-model saloon and ute's and not the classic models but still, welcome

I've tried converting a few meshes as well but I never got the texture to show either so I'm sad to say I can't help you with that :(

About time, Hey Andy, get in contact with me about a VC Aus mod if your interested.

I'e finally got WR myself so this will be good!

I had hernia surgury when i was like 2 apparantly, don't remember it myself, but Mum does. Good luck with that though.

Hey frank,

Yeah i intend to do alot of aussiemuscle, preferably old race cars. Thanks for the encouragement...yeah VQ i might look at that some more...but right now i'm just trying to work out how to do the cars first

here's another game shot, i'm getting there, i can now drive the cars but i still have no texture so i'm getting closer..who know's i might have it sorted before i go in tomorrow.

i'm a really long way from actually succeeding, in getting a car in, the bloke who wrote the tools isn't much help either, and i've posted for some help somewhere else but without luck. i'll take some time to look at it again....after i get over the pain i'll be in...well stay safe...and if anyone thinks they can help me with the textures then pm for my "new msn"

and one more, Surgery update, they canceled on me, i go back in on monday to try again lol...this is what i was trying to achieve, Frank, its easy as falling off a log...

simply name your ptx file the same as the model name, for example.
a9xtorry.mox=>a9xtorry.ptx in the mtl file...so i guess i did it. this car is not for release just yet. i'm working on it
cheers

Awsome, now if we got some high poly Aussie cars in then it would be even better, I've got Corvette world racing as well as this one and I like CWR for the cars, but MBWR for the maps, I'm gonna see if I cna get the cars into MBWR how hard it would be.
