I mean, you don't need to join TotalNFS to do a "vanity" search on your name to see if you're being discussed. You only need to join to post. For those who don't know, K A B A is somewhat widely known for constantly running "hacked" cars online and for cheating others out of their "EA" points if he's going to lose a race.

Hey KABA I know we have crossed swords in the past and you called me a b'stard =(( in the lobby once cos I refused to let you race in one of my pits but if you really do want to join us all (NFS peeps) in good clean fun racing then I would also welcome you and treat you like a friend. Please post and let us know your thoughts and feelings.

I find it very hard to believe that K A B A would give up his hacks and race legitimately because he can't stand losing. He is a very AVERAGE driver and wouldn't finish in the top 3 in most pits without his hacks.
However, if he is prepared to go clean, then I will race him and treat him in a cordial manner.

yes, that's the Alliance of china nfs race teams. And other race games, like f1, rally, etc.. the nfs is the most popular of course.
and the Alliance hold twice "clan vs clan tournament". The OST(ostrich=a kind of bird) win the all 12 teams. LTS, RJ, CW,GTO,S.......OST-LQ, OST-Lanlin, never give chance us win. ( Lanlin is very very fast in use the 95T, and he practice 00T996 much, he is the master of we RJ ,taught us a lot. His net connetion is not good, always lost ,so he not go to ea server often. you can see he did 57:xx in the cote fw 996 , someone said he's hack , no, he is not .)
the red july team ,is found in 2001' s july. because July is a hot month here, so it's colour is red . I join this team because it's our city 's or our province ( as state in US)'s team , all member of RJ is live in the same city. HK Pclive live in HongKong, but we speak the same language, it's different form the genaral chinese. ( of course we all can speak the chinese, but dont say it much. pclive maybe feel hard to speak the genaral chinese, bacause he's in a place that govern by British,but he can read it).
the "red" in our team name, is just a common color, not related to any political things.:)
there's large number of chinese young people playing the PU, they never come here (the main forum of this game) i think is because feel embrarras, :) ,they have not much time to enter the internet, (the cost is not cheap, and maybe they have not find out the importain meaning of the internet) ,not speak to come to a foreign language page. ...
weeks ago, i persuade hap, the web master of the Allience, creat an easy English bbs , use to express our Allicence 's opinion and as a opportunity to communicate all the racers in the world . hap did it , ebbs.theracer.net was born.
and i post a new thread to call the guys visit that bbs, i say although you dont know english, as me , visit there ,say a "hello", is all right. but what disappoint me is they nearly all dont post there, what a x...! ok, i know they dont like that kind of matter now. what i can do? cheyenne you visit that bbs, and tell this site to me, and so i appear in here.hehe....

As I said elsewhere I was reading the Chinese part of the message board and I even tried to join so I could reply there. My translation software has trouble with the scripted parts of the board, like the sign-in part, so it appears I cannot do that. If it is all right I can reply on the "English" part and try to take part in discussions. So I will be posting much more on the English side. I hope to see you there. I notice GTO-86 has just shown up there. I will be more dilligent about posting.
I know members from RJ, CW, GTO, OST and LTS. I have great respect for you all. I know some have been called cheats because of great record times. I know this is not the case. Very honest and honorable racers. I know a great many Chinese racers are so very serious about their racing and truly strive to be the best. I think that level of skill is a surprise to many here and causes some to suspect. I am very sorry for any harm that has been caused.
Don't worry about not many posting there. We do have large language and cultural barriers to cross, but I think we can do it. Like I said, reading your Chinese board I am truly amazed by the level of commitment of the Chinese racers. I think many here would be also amazed. I am hoping that if you and I and the others who have been posting keep doing so, and begin discussing the issues that are of interest to us, many more will join!

could you please post a link here to that chinese site you talked about again ? I must have missed the thread, sorry Prize. I know a couple of chinese players online, LQ is one of my oldest online mates, and i would like to see some thoughts from all you players far away ;) regularly. I found a chinese version, but i even dont have the support language installed to view it, and as i cant understand anything i doubt it to be necessary ;).
Now, for the topic. Chey, KABA wont be legit. He was in contact to one of my team mates a while ago, and said he wont cheat anymore and will go online with a different name, but KABAs points steadily increased...so im pretty sure he has found out himself what Dave mentioned above, and quickly decided to be a cheater again.
Heres what ill do: if he changes his name and decided to be legit, well, i wont recognize him and therefor he is welcome to my pits. If KABA enters my pit, ill say 'leave it', and ill boot him if he wont go (he wont enter my pits though, as he knows it). If he enters a pit in which i am not the host, ill inform all players in it about his cheat, and ask for booting him. If pit host doesnt boot him, ill leave the pit. Even one race of him, regardless where, means one place lost in the top50 list. Thats why i dont allow him in my own pit. Yes, hes a lousy player, but his cheat seems to be powerful enough to get top50 entries....which are lost then for players trying to get them legit.

I for one greatly appreciate your interest. You have immense respect in the community. I feel we have a large cultural and language barrier to bridge, but we can do it if we try. There are very great racers in China as well as "here" and I sometimes feel we may have slighted each other due to misundestandings. I think by communicating and coming to understand each other we can only improve the world we live in.
Yes, about K A B A, I agree with all you say. I am loathe to "eject" anyone from a pit I'm hosting as it goes directly like a dagger to my heart, I really feel pain when doing it, but K A B A is "despicable". If, however, he decides not to be "despicable" I'm all for welcoming him into the community. I believe in "innocent until proven guilty". Well, K A B A is guilty without any doubt. But if he wishes to "prove" a new-found innocence, then I'm very happy about that. It would, of course, take much more than his "word" to prove that to me, and, I suspect, to the community at large. :'(

but I havent actually raced him in over 3 months....
he knows me a bit.. but that was due to the fact i was one of the first people that showed that a non-cheat car can almost beat him... ;)

and he got a 3.03 in a 53 with GT1 physics :p ? One reason more to boot him and KABA, he obviously tries to set times which arent that fast....or hes the worst driver i ever saw :D

I raced Roy* yesterday and I thought he was a cheat too. His lines looked pretty bad (especially through the S-curves on Autobahn) and yet his speed was very nice (faster than my 196 mph speed with my Moby. My best GT1 exit speed is about 210... but I've only done that once. I can do around 206 mph with almost regularity). But he was also very lagged. His car would wiggle all over the place and his ping wasn't great back in the pit either. He checked out on DH OK so I apologized for the earlier accusations as I now didn't have any proof anyway.. I just figured it was lag and gave him the benefit of the doubt.
If anyone has actually caught him with a cheat in DH, please let me know so I can keep him out of my pits or leave pits I join that he's in.

Ah.. I just went back and read the first page of this thread (The posts I didn't read because I havn't checked this thread in a while...). Roy* is K A B A and has been caught cheating using the Roy* name... So I guess I won't be allowing him into my pits anymore.

yeah well sorry... but he has taken my greatest combination WR.. Gt1 with MC4... I love that track.. always been pretty good there.. first person to break the 1:14.93 PU standard record offline.. ;)
so I race ysterday... my time was a 1:12.31 on MC4 gt1... and did a 1:12.03 on 1st 8 lap race...... his time is 1:11.87.. anyway getting closer to it... and just to think, he would have done that without anyrails or anything too.. best time without rails is only a 1:14/1:15

Speaking of cheaters, I beat $speed$'s Moby Autobahn Forwards World Record today... by .03 seconds, no less. heheh. 2:04.56 is my time. And the silly thing is that I screwed up the middle of the tunnel a bit and lost some speed. I believe I can acheive a high 2:03 if I work at it (I've already done a 2:03 backwards... starting from 5th place!)
Nothing like the feeling of beating a cheater legitimately :) Best of luck to ya in getting the MC4 GT1 WR back, Warren :D

I did a replay before yours that was a high 2:05.. I have a much better setup now and with any luck on the first rail, I could probably launch myself into the 2:04 zone :) The 2:04 WR on Bahn fwds I did with my old crappy setup before I did 2:02 backwards, mind you :D My new setup kicks some serious butt. :p
I'll have to make a replay later. :)
