Hey Murph,
When are you going to update your sig. I think the same design in the Super Cheap colours would look good.

Also (to everyone), compare the final Super Cheap design of Ellery with the new Commodore design. Similiar, yet... different. :D It is strange how sponsers jump from Ford to Holden (Super Cheap) however drivers jump from Holden to Ford (Ellery). Bright doesn't count because he was with Ford before he went to Holden.

I think it looks awesome, I didn't like last year's PWR paintjob. It seemed uninspired.

Since when did Ellery drive for holden?

Super Cheap are exactly that (ie, their name) I can't beleive they pulled out of Ellery before the season ended, the boobs, then they go and sponser another team, doesn't put them in my good books (since I like Ellery  )The paintjob looks ok, nothing super, could have done with a little siver imo, looks too "Holy Grail" team dynamic for me

Lewi: Ellery raced in a VS Commodore during the 1998 season. Even I was shocked when I found out.

ellery was also with HRT, 1997? or even maybe 1998 as an enduro driver ^_^

Ive got the photo here somewhere in a magazine, but I cant find the book atm but he was definately a HRT enduro driver in the late 1990's

Seems everyones been with HRT, I mean so has Brad Jones and Neil Crompton to name a few ^_^

What about the news of Castrol no longer being the leading sponser for Perkins? anything on why that happend? Castrol and perkins is one of those bonds that should be together forever. It was castrol wasn't it? or am I thinking of another oil brand?!

Shell has now reduced its sponsorship with DJR.

I wounder why they are doing that....

It is a buisness move, why pour money into a buisness venture if you are not getting the returns. DJR are not at the 2 best places for sponsor exposure. They are not in the lead of the race nor are they in the middle of a massive accident.

Checked out ellery's profile in the v8 supercar programme from last year and under his name (up to end of 2003) he had 76 ford starts and 10 holden starts, so those enduro races with ellery in a holden isnt that rare which i found quite suprising.

Well word is that the new sponsor is confirmed and DJR will no longer have the distinctive yellow livery, watch out for new colours this year.

Well DJR's new sponsor is a financal group from QLD that go by the name of "Westpoint", the car will be blue and grey with the back being yellow (for Shell)

So no more Shell Helik Falcons, now the are Westpoint Falcons.

Westpoint, hadn't they already been a minor sponsor on the cars for a while now, the company sounds familiar to me.
