Y2K has let me the next skinner for PBP so I am getting my practice up. I am hoping PBP will move back to the 70's so that the V8 fans can race as the true legends. But that is just what I think. Who knows it could just be a side project while 2005 is being done :D

Actually my avatar shows what might happen this year at Bathurst. :p
With Skaifes performance on the track while owning his own team (like Seton), and the SBR cars getting better, this year may be very surprising.
BTW, thanks for allowing me to use your resources. :beer:

I actually want to see Holden lose Bathurst before I'm 60. :D

The hard part is finding the images of the cars (side, front, back, top). If anyone knows of historic V8 sites, especially Bathurst, or has photos of these cars please let me know. I am starting to run out of cars so unless I purchase The Great Race DVD's or AMC mags, I'm stuffed. =((

Although I would have thought that if the Ford was passing the Holden in the pits then the Ford surely would have smoke pissing out the side of it.

In any case wat demon was sayin about Skaifes holden is a little off the mark ( I feel ) ... no pun intended there, but from what I have been watching that car is getting better every race.

We shall see next year but I still think SBR will have an edge on everyone

:nono: I don't think what I said is off the mark. Think about it. It has been a while since Glenn Seton has had a good win. This is because he owned Ford Credit Racing. In fact seeing Seton finishing a race was the best that anyone could hope for. Now compare that to Skaife during 2004. He decided to take ownership and his performance went downhill. These are just my thoughts but it seems that for some drivers, owning a team is too difficult.
Also look at Brad Jones. Where is his success?

Nah seriously I think you make a good point there except for the bit about Brad Jones although the "Wheres his success" bit is true.
Isnt he associated with Kim the ******* who we all want to kill in various ways.

Maybe Skaifes days of being a driver then should be laid to rest if he wants to own. But that car is still looking good, even though he was gifted a 2nd at Symmonds. &( Whos decision was that anyway.

Cmon 2005 hurry up I wanna see Murphs new car and TKR win a race.
