I had gotten an e-mail from Carlos about the temporary forums... didn't realize everything was back online :) I don't know if any of the rest of the GPL gang that also used to consider this as a pit stop knows it's back... I'm going to go post a notice on the Dixie League board.

BTW, while things were down (and just recently) I did some regular track racing and brought my GPL Rank down to negative :) Woo hoo now if I can just get my MoG Rank negative too &( yeah right maybe someday... damn BRM and probably the Cooper will keep me from that for awhile yet.

I just setup the entire forums yesterday night. We could use some GPL'ers here again, I'm sure everyone will trickle back in slowly.

Congrats on the negative Rank Mysh. I knew you would do it easily :beer:

Now you have to chase down those "almost-aliens" John, Paul and Matt.

I'm learning new stuff all the time about how the cars handle, but I've had to take a break from racing due to neck and shoulder problems from over-doing it - which is easy with GPL :D

I consider my greatest accomplishment so far to be my 1:22.59 at Mosport in the Ferrari - my favourite car :)

Hey guys,

Congrats on the negative Rank Mike, it's one of the crowning achievements in GPL.

Once I manage to get myself a wheel, either by shipping mine over from back home, or borrowing one from somewhere, I'll be racing like mad again, it's going to take me a lot to get back in the swing of things with GPL... it'll be good to race with you guys without being half asleep or drunk from a night out :)

Dave... Fantastic time there at Mosport, I know how you feel about the Ferrari, it's a beautiful car, so much fun... I love just thrashing it around Mosport, not necessari8ly the fastest approach, but slipping and sliging is real good fun when the track allows it so easily as Mosport.

I'll try and get my wheel shipped over, I left it with a friend of mine in the house I was living at... just gotta see how much teh damn thing will cost to ship, as I do love my LWFF, and I don't really want a new one, not that I can afford one anyway.

I'll see what the deal is, if I can feasibly get one, I will sign up for the new league, if not, I'll just try and join in on some fun runs in the mean while if I can get it shipped over... we shall see though.

Anyways, nice to hear from you guys, I guess I'll be in touch - I may be on the wya down to NYC in May or so, so I'll have to give Paul and John a buzz to see if there is a chance you guys can make the long haul up state to meet us - I am pretty sure Lee would be coming along... but that's quite a ways in the future, so we'll have to get something arranged, now that I am on the same continent, as you guys I willl have to get over to as many as I can, being stuck in ol' blighty was a bugger to say the least.

Olaf (Malcolm) seems to have some trouble with his isp and is unable to use the internet. I did some PM's with Boris (DC_Fog) since i get along with him aswell and he lives in the same house as Olaf. If i am not mistaken i might get a message from Olaf soon and either he gets online or i'll try to keep you guys up to date bout his "status"
