Alphasim has released their B36 bomber. This huge plane is even larger than a B52.

It's a very nice recreation of this plane. The accuracy is very good.

Do you like IL-2 sturmovik? It's the sim I play more than any other. I love it, full realism of course but with outside views allowed.

 excuse me a moment while I re-adjust my reality....

Rob, never would have figured you for a IL2 fan....

I played IL2: forgotten missions quite a bit when it came out but have not played much in a while. The various updates for this look good as well.

Chris, did you try FS2000 before the latest version? It's the game/sim that started it all for me.

Hi Heiny, I have always been more of a flight sim fan than a road hugger. WW2 sims especially because of the close combat and also helicopter sims. I did download the forgotten missions update but could make it work. :( One of these days I might have another crack at it.

Rob: No, I mostly prefer civilian sims over shooting things.

I have helos in FS2004, but can't possibly make them fly smoothly.

But I'm happy to praise hard work, like what was done with this old B36. It looks stunning.

Yeah it looks like nice work. I haven't got MSFS but I did have flight sim 98 I believe. It was good to learn flying but after a while it got a little boring and crashing into the twin towers was the the most exiting thing about it in the end. But even that got boring after a while. Shooting down old nazis is more my thing. ;)
