First thought it was some kind of rip-off of Pirtek, maybe Bright wants to pitch in on Ambroses success? ^_^

Looks promising fielding rookie drivers, but being supplied with FPR engines would have to be questioned, i wouldnt exactly call them "reliable".

i was messing around b4 and decided to do a concept Britek ford with Adrad sponsorship as seen on the carrera cup car

for some reason when i saved the pic of the porsche it changed from red to blue, dunno why.

see what u think

I think the porsche's colour is inverted that's all, erm, so brigh has offically left holden again? bastard.

I wish ford would stop bribing drivers to go over to them.

maybe he wanted to keep the connection with his old ford. The Pirtek Falcon.

Bright + Pirtek + Ford = Britek Falcon????

i think its like Marcos Ambrose said, that ford is comming into a resurgence and are gunna be the dominate make and some of the leading holden guys can see this and are jumping ship

Maybe holden should start matching the money offered by ford as well

Only because Ford are spending more money then they have, GM dont' usually do that.

don't they :p ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

GM spent shitloads on Pontiac to bring it up to the mark in the 1950's. All motorcompanies have a lot. Ford Motorsport may have asked to get more money for a great driver as if your car is winning races, ofter you are winning in the sales yard.

But Aren't Holden still the top sellers ^_^

yeah thats right.

As John Crennan says: They sell 3 cars to every 10 we sell. Meaning HSV and FPV vehicles.

In general, Ford do spend more money on drivers. Lowndes, Ingall now Bright.

lowndes i wouldn't mind seeing in a holden, bright should be in a holden and Ingall well he shouldn't even be allowed in a ford he is the driver that i dislike the most, should not ever be allowed to race again after the incident with skaife still feel so sour over that

helix

Brad ..........mate... :nono: If it had of been me behind the wheel instead of Ingall, i wouldn't have swerved at all and bounced that arrogant big nosed no it all clean off the front of my beautiful barra. ^_^

But thats just me

Helix i agree with Brad in that Ingalls stunt with skaife was totally uncalled for and that he should not be allowed in a Ford or a Holden....

But thats just me....

I do not like him and never have, even when he drove alongside LP at castrol Holden he was an idiot.

Having said that I would like to commend his race style at Eastern creek for not hitting skaife, although I understand that the team had to remind him lap after lap not to do so.

He reminds me a lot of Heinz Harold Frentzen at Jordan.... dangerous!!!

On other matters... ( sigh ) well done ambrose 2nd in a row.

Cmon HRT get your shit together and ffs murph win this thing.

The last thing we need is for Ford to think they are the rooster again :nono:

Cmon HRT get your shit together and ffs murph win this thing. well some guy by the name of Walkinshaw has taken a highly paid job at Holden Motorsport beginning 2005 ^_^

Remember the guy went broke in F1's, but hes got nothing to do with money in V8's, and he seemed to be what HRT needed. Notice how when he left HRT suddenly started to fail to where it is now

Although hes in Holden Motorsport, and not directly affiliated with one team, hopefully that, and the push from skaife to focus, will give them the kick up the bum so to speak

As for Murph if PWR can give him the machine, and it seems they can, he might have enough push to stay up the front, unlike previous years where he's waited until the last few rounds to do something about it

murphy would be good in a hrt machine or dear i say it sbr

Noooooooooooo dont say it....

I agree with the HRT comment but not SBR however much the Kiwi connection.

I would love to see Murph in the TKR car once it is stronger and more competitive, and it will be...

Every time that car goes on the track it gets better and better, i am dying to see where it finishes at Bathurst 2005

Bring on next year.

THe las time Walkinshaw raced, he blew up a motor from engine braking because he thought the brakes were out just cos it had hard pads and not soft pads like the uk setup VL Group A.

I thought Bright was moving to FPR though =/

murph_fan
12-13-2004, 08:28 PM
yeah, Bright will be at FPR and run his own team (supposedly called Britek) and someone else will drive that.

lewi
12-14-2004, 05:43 AM
ohhh, thats a new concept then! Cool, i think (even being from the blue corner) that Bright will regret this decision as Holden still seems to be a little faster.

Turboginge
12-14-2004, 05:02 PM
Overall lewi yes i think that Holden are faster but the problem is that damn SBR car. Stonebros seem to have gotten another couple of cylinders on it and as far as the Championship goes its the top car, not the top brand ... damn it.

I have a horrible feeling that 2005 will be more of the same but it is good to see the two manufacturers closing up again.. a close race is a good race, look at F1 (goooooooo ferrari... oh they did)

With any luck HRT's VY is looking strong and maybe Murph's shift to PWR ( why??) will somehow give him more motivation.

And TKR might even make the top ten this year.

lol spot the kiwi :HB:

i dont know, if the Ford teams show the paced they showed from bathurst to Eastern Creek, than i think Holden maybe in some trouble.

As it appears that alot of the Ford teams are coming together with the BA

lewi
12-22-2004, 10:25 PM
Indeed, now the tables are turning =)
At least it's healthier for the sport!

VQ
12-23-2004, 01:08 AM
because of project blueprin complelty screwing up the Holdens because they had to come up with a new suspension setup for the front end and the fact most BA's have more Hp might have something to do with it too.

lewi
12-23-2004, 02:04 AM
Lol, that didn't seem to help Lowndes =P

wello
12-23-2004, 02:40 AM
^_^ VQ if project blueprint had meant ford getting a new front end you wouldn't give a shit
all teams knew it was coming so thats old hat :p

At long last ford are starting to get there act together and it is making for great racing
lets leave it at that and be happy that were getting to watch RACING and not the first ten cars maded up of the one make or the other for once and the best part is than alot of the teams that make the top 10 most of us didn't thing would be top ten runners are getting up there now thats racing -^

Turboginge
12-23-2004, 03:06 AM
It was racing we could never tell which Holden was going to win.
But we knew it was gonna be a holden lol

Nah i agree that it is good to see the marques closing up again.... as long as holden keep their noses in front, or even their bumpers lol.

VSV6
12-23-2004, 06:13 PM
All for great racing here, and this season has been one of the besy (even if Satan did win again)
However I would preffer Ford win of their own accord, seriously Ford Australia just didn't put enough effort into making decent race cars with the AU, or road cars for that matter
The BA with it's limited front downforce would still be a big compeditor against the VY, much more so that the AU vs VX
PBP wasn't necessary and we can't tell who 'should' be winning because the cars don't represent anything we drive on the road (at least before they had the same engines!)

Cheers

VQ, If you want to see ford get destroyed, what the Sprincars. There is only one Ford.

I don't have this problem in Moto GP, I don't care who wins, as long as it isn't biaggi!
