I can't race online

Hi. I have a problem with internet racing. when i want to join a public server and i click on internet, it sais "There is a new update available ...blablabla.. do you wnat to install?" I klick yes and NFS shuts down. Everything goes fine till here, butt then nothing happens also not after some hours. There doesn't pop up a updater or something. I am really getting more active in NFS 5 and wants to race online instead of single player and peer to peer all the time.. Someone had this problem before? I hope someone can help me out. I know so great people are active here, I hope you can help me. I would really really thankfull

Hi Markos.
There has been some problem with the autoupdater, sometimes it works and sometimes...well not work, anyway, here is a link to where u can find the 3.5 patch for nfs pu.

Maybe this will help. If you are using a "No CD" patch on your game, you may have to Uninstall then Reinstall from the CD (making sure that the Electronic Arts Game Updater" software installs. Then start the game, select "Multiplayer", then select "Internet" (depends on the language version, of course, but you get the idea!) and then let the game update normally. Then, you can reinstall your "No CD" files. Before you do any uninstalling, though, make sure you copy your "SaveData" folder to somewhere safe (it has all your player info). Once the game is back installed (and before starting it and updating) copy your "SaveData" folder back into the main NFS folder.

I've the same problem,also with the update you talked about.Doesn't work.It just ends the session in NFS when i click the update sjit in internetgames and goes to those windows terror again.

Have you installed the updater software?

Go to

CDDRIVE:\setup\EAUpdate\setup.exe

Run that program.

Make sure you've got ALL downloadable official cars installed first before using the updater.

Now load the game, when it says there is updates available, click yes or whatever to download them, and, it should start updating immediately. (or at least in a few seconds).

I have a similar problem to these, but I am able to get to the select server screen, but there are no servers for me to select from. Am I supposed to connect to a server before I try Multiplayer?
