Frustrated in Africa...lol

I saw on one of the Producer videos( that i downloaded from ign.com), that you can start a career in only one race mode. Did anyone tried it and how do you get about it? And i also got the same problem that i saw so many guys on here are complaining about and that is that i`m stuck on levels 1 & 2 with no races left to do.I entered races from the world map and finished them all, aswell as my Sponsorship(s)... I dont even see opponents for OUTRUNS anymore. I guess you can understand my frustration :confused:
I own the PlayStation 2 console.
