EA's PR machine is really funning full steam these days, it's like updates are appearing every 30 minutes lately &( , although not every article, screenie or clip shows much news.
My Picks:
First NFS U2 Drag movie at the airport (If you thought the obstacles in Part 1 were bad...), and a Beacon Hill outrun drifting video starring the Toyota Corolla A86, at http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/679/679033/vids_1.html
At TeamXbox there has been an interview (http://interviews.teamxbox.com/xbox/923/Need-for-Speed-Underground-2-Kristian-von-Fersen-Interview/p1/) with NFSU2 producer Kristian von Fersen that actually revealed a few new details:
Showcase Mode is a really cool addition to Underground 2. We took the idea of the magazines we had in Underground 1 and then said "why don't we let the player choose what they think would make a good cover shot?" This is what Showcase Mode is all about and you can take pictures of your car for the cover of well known magazines. Once you arrive at the photographer's location, you are able to cycle between a number of cameras as well as drive your car around to set up the perfect shot. Once you set up the shot you like, you can "showoff" by activating your hydraulics or opening your hood, doors or trunk. You can then take the shot and see your car on the cover of the magazine along with a beautiful model. You'll also get some bank awarded to you based on the visual rating of your car.
Online mode will consist of 2 primary modes; ranked games and unranked games. Unranked games can be played in any car and no stats are tracked in this mode. In ranked games, there are 6 modes available to play. These are Circuit, Sprint, Drag, Drift, Street X and Underground Racing League. For ranked games, you must use a specific "ranked" car for each game mode which you are able to custom tune. The goal of ranked games is to achieve "Elite" status in each online game mode.
[...]
There will also be a variety of tunable options in online to customize the racing experience. Players that prefer a more traditional Nitrous system can turn off the Race Breaker, or turn off collisions if they're not into having opponents win by cheap tactics.
Also:
Are there any plans for downloadable content?
Kristian von Fersen: I can't confirm anything yet, but let me assure you we're doing everything possible to try and include some cool downloadable content for Underground 2.
Gamespot got their hands on a nearly-finished build of the game, you can read their opinion here: http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/driving/needforspeedunderground2/preview_6111132.html
There is also some footage of the game right here, if you move the 'fast-forward' slider to around 43 minutes: http://www.gamespot.com/onthespot/index.html?tag=gs_lnav_onthespot
(it shows the Peugeot 106 in action, yay :p )
Then there are 2 new clips that make me happy because they are the first to show the in-game action from various Replay Camera Angles. :D
Clip 1, a Drift Movie starring a Pontiac GTO (loooove that engine sound -^ ):

Clip 2, another Drag clip featuring a Nissan Sentra, on a train yard:
