A nice little thing to try in your WR is wide-screen mode. If your computer supports 2 monitors, then do the following:
1. Connect both monitors, restart the computer
2. Set video driver to span windows desktop across the 2 windows (like in NView settings for Nvidia graphics cards)
3. You should now have resolutions like 2560x1024 and 3200x1200.
4. Run WR configuration, select new resolution
5. Start game
The races (even in the demo) look sensational, especially for screenshots. This is something I tried first with F1C 99-02, but I thought to mention it here as well.

Interesting trick, I only thought that Matrox-thing could do something like that.
Thanks for the tip

A lot of Nvidia graphics cards have a digital display output on the back of them, and some graphics cards (like Leadtek branded ones for instance) come with a digital to normal VGA adaptor, allowing you to connect another monitor. :)
It can be very handy. :)
Maybe we will see some nice panoramic screenshots. ;)
but my monitors only support up to 1152 at a decent refresh rate of 75mhz, what do i do then?

It depends on your video card having multi-monitor support.
If it does, you'll be able to span your desktop across both. Each monitor will still only maybe have a resolution on its own of 1280x1024, or whatever you use, but Windows will show a "virtual" resolution of say 2560x1024 (or whatever is double the horizontal resolution you are using).
For me, I use monitors at 1280x1024@85hz, so when I set windows to span the desktop across two monitors, it shows 2560x1024. Or 3200x1200 if I used 1600x1200 for both monitors.
Hope that has explained it. :)
I tried it on my 9600Pro, and it still stays in one monitor. I am running XP Pro, and when I switched from ME, I could no longer hold desktop items on monitor 2, after rebooting, for whatever reason. ME would keep the twin desktops. I tried the wide screen and the full screen, no go. Ah well. :(
