MBWR or WR 2

Ok, I decided to take the plunge and get one of the WR series.

So, two questions.

1) Is there any point to getting MBWR if WR2 will be released shortly? Is there a published date for WR2?

2) If I go with MBWR where can I get it? I checked local stores, e-stores, and e-bay. I've found copies for XBox but nothing for PC. :'(
Are there any stockpiles out there?

I can say comments only about 1st half:
I thinks yes, with all add-on cars + Normandie (do you like NFS-PU like I do ?), good MP racing. Nice graphics and physics (just read few reviews :)
In my eyes you should get this game.
WR2 release is planned (roughly) on end of first quarter of 2005.

Hi Heinrick! You should have posted this here first before checking the local shops,bud,we could have saved you the leg work! MBWR has never been available in stores here,although when WR2 ships,that is supposed to change.Hopefully,both will be available,but I know TDK is working hard to get WR2 in stores here as soon as it's shipped elsewhere.

As Krom mentioned,I don't think WR2 is going to be out until at least March 05,so I highly recommend you pick up MBWR! It's not expensive;it'll cost you about $52 CDN including the shipping.It's still available at www.gogamer.com click on the "Racing" link in the PC Games column on the right of the main page.It's in there.It's listed @ $29.90 USD+ shipping,and I used good old Canada Post,which as I mentioned came to about $52.It took 6 days to arrive at my door from Gogamer,which is in California.They import copies of MBWR from the UK,so all the menus,manuals,readme's etc are in English,just in case you were wondering.

It's the best racing game on the market right now,IMHO,and I like it so much,I've basically abandoned PU.If you do decide to get it,Heinrick,let us know and we'll can give you the rundown on the latest patch,which has multi player,and how to set up the game etc. -^ Yesterday I raced in a Racerplanet pit,with Frank N.O. and Lucifer.Others here who play regularly,are FeZ and my teamie,DC_Tox.Many others here have the game also,and there is a nice crew from NFBS that i play with quite often.
